Man I’ve been a Lovie Smith apologist and have defended him and even Pep Hamilton all year but I simply can’t do it anymore. Why tf are we running Rex f**king Burkhead on 3rd and goal from that close. It’s decisions like that, that I can’t really defend anymore. Sad part is I knew as soon as we broke the huddle what the call was, that it was going to fail and that it was lead to us losing. I said it as soon as he got stopped in the backfield my exact words were “this game is over we just lost” 🤦🏾♂️
They’re infatuated with Rex Burkhead lol 😂. He’s slow , old and has no power. There’s no reason he should’ve been in at the goal line.

Maybe Jeff should play more often or just let him start. But I feel like going for the TD with 4th and 3. That was not the right call. I get you are going for the win. But it would of gave the Texans players more juice having been by 6. I think that would been awesome or maybe it was all part of the plan.

We need a qb who can move in the pocket and make throws. Driskel moved pretty well and showed how you open up the playbook more with a mobile QB. Bryce Young should be a good fit.
I remember telling everyone that Jeff Driskel was the best QB on our roster after his preseason game. Too bad he hasn’t been starting this whole time.
