I have a feeling that this draft class may be one of Ballards best
I don’t know if it’ll top last year’s but Dayo and Paye alone make it a W in terms of improving defense alone, assuming Dayo can overcome that achilles injury.
Better than 2 players on trajectory towards the hof? I think this may be a good class (top heavy but an impactful group of young men none the less). 2018 is what all other draft classes should be compared to. We’ll see

Ehlinger is underrated
Ehlinger is questionable. Texas had high hopes and again crumbled. Ehlinger played poorly in most of the big moment. They haven’t won jack in all his years starting.

How can you hate him? Spends to the cap to field a team. Hires front office and listens to them. Engages the fans nearly every day on Twitter. Gives back a ton to the Indianapolis community. He’s the best owner in sports – definitely the best owner an Indiana team has ever had.

So many people mad about this draft, I felt that this is a huge step into not only becoming a good team capable of winning the Super Bowl next year but becoming a dynasty for the next 5-10 years at least. I like the idea of drafting project players to coach in the Colt direction and only using FA to fill needs and depth and not spending crazy money. Ballard and his team is one, if not the best, GM in the league.

The joke Ballard made about drafting a lineman in the 7th is why Indy is going to be successful for a long time. Drafting the best player to come to you is the way to do it. Needs can always be filled or adjusted to, especially if the need is one spot on the line where 4/5 spots are already pretty solid. Castonzo will be missed though.
