This is a crap Belichick coaching tree result. I called it from the announcement of the McNuggets hire. This was going to be a train wreck. The locker room was lost from the hire. They wanted Coach Rich. Sure he’s not a coveted HC hire but what he did in 2021 was amazing. Diablo is a bench guy, not a starter. Whiffs on tackles frequently. “We didn’t come ready to play.” Really? Worst LB’s and DB’s in the league. They’ll be lucky to get to 6-11.
Every game the opponent has a player to stop or slow down. Kamara, Kelce and this week Entienne. If the defense does not do that it’s either the scheme, game plan or players. Wilson’s best game this year was v. Raiders. Offense has issues too but this Defense struggles every year to make key stops on third down, get pressure and create turnovers.
You can add Kyler and Henry to that list too

We’ve lost a lot of games in the last 20 years but this was amongst the worst. It took the entire team pulling in the same direction to suck this bad.

The worst thing THIS TEAM could is go 7-10 or 8-9 and just miss the postseason. I’d almost rather they bottomed out like in 1997 and make it plain as yogurt to Mark Davis that this move just wasn’t the right one. We’re treading water at best until we do. It’s just clear that WacDaniels is not head coach material. Great playcaller, great OC, bad head coach. Someone said Norv Turner, I think that’s a great comp. That isn’t validation for all you “Carr’s the sole reason for everything” types, but I pride myself on being a realist…this team is going nowhere fast and that’s the plain truth. Sucks.
Unfortunately this season, I haven’t even seen the good play calling. I think we could have won more games had the play calling lived up to the expectations for the offensive proficiency. There have been key play calls this season that have been the difference between winning and losing. We have to be better on offense for four quarters this season.
By (2023)draft day this game will be forgotten to the past

@Jr Gomez DUDE CArr had some faults but WHERE was Devante Adams he straight SUCKED!!! Renfrow had been mediocre because of his hip injury and still playing. Raiders have 0 receivers.

James Jones really give some great points. My former HS Qb knows what he is talking about for sure. Bottom line, McDaniels has really fixed this run game that has been missing for years. Red Zone issues has been much improved with physical run approach. However, this passing game isn’t going smooth at all. Renfrow isn’t even considered in the passing game. He needs to be allowed to freestyle vs slot defenders to move chains for us. Offense was really developing a nice balance even with the passing game issues. Unfortunately, this Saints loss was a hurtful setback because of the record issue. McDaniels gotta away from the run game too soon, (been there done that), and relied too much on a sputtering pass game. Now the Raiders have to be in Playoff mode from here on out. Can’t lose but one more game. Whether the players have the scheme down or not, you just better win.
