Legend of the Game Darryl Talley: “This Game Is Going To Be Tight” | One Bills Live | Buffalo Bills

Former LB Darryl Talley joined One Bills Live to discuss his weekend of events as the Legend of the Game when the Bills host the Jets on Sunday. He recapped the bet he made with Steve Tasker on his previously scheduled Legend appearance when the Bills were moved to Detroit to face the Browns. He then talked about the performance of LB Tremaine Edmunds, the impact he has on the defense, and how the defensive line will adjust without Von Miller. Finally, he talked about his favorite memories of facing the division rival Jets.

Tasker and Talley are two guys I would, for sure, NEVER want to be tackled by. LOL Legends!

This conversation about Edmunds is the reason why we’re resigning him, he has potential to be one of most underrated LBS in the NFL period. Don’t forget he’s only 24 and I’m 22..thank god we drafted him.

do not think that any other team has alumni that is close as the former Bills..laughs and smiles and support..and love for one another..

Daryl Talley was a great player and a better teammate! Who wouldn’t love to play with that guy! Tough and gritty

Dec 23rd, 1990: D Talley gets snubbed for the Pro Bowl. Bills needed to win a home game over the Dolphins w/o their QB. DT played possessed.

the way tremaine is playing, thats a future HOF’er right there. yep, i said it.

Ive never understood the hate on Tremaine Edmunds….he has always been solid…and almost perfect when he and Milano are on the field together. I feel the same about Rousseau ….he will be a star soon. This defense suits them all well.

Its also great seeing my two favorite players from the Glory Years. Two guys who never got the accolades except from their team mates. Tasker is the best SP Teams player EVER…and DT was the most overlooked LB in those years….he was a great field general.

Gotta agree all the way, been thinking Tremaine has an almost ridiculous ceiling since the day we drafted him and I actually looked into him seriously. Since then, he seems to be living up to it, him and Milano have some special chemistry, hope we hold them both long-term, go Billz

NcGrex

It’s sickening to hear Tasker not in the HoF.

Facts Best special teams player in his time he pioneered special teams 7 straight pro bowls wytb there crazy give him his flowers now he’s an all time great player and a great person

Erin Freize

Tremaine will always be in Josh’s shadow as he was picked in the same round of the same draft, and the QB of the defense never gets to shine like the offensive stars do. I think that draft was the beginning of Beane’s greatness and I hope they resign Edmunds to a nice contract. I just hope the Bills can afford him after this stellar season.

    Existence

I think they will the only problem is they probably can’t pay 2 safties too

ZenClover 84

Love Darryl and hearing him when the opportunities come about. I know he’s had some health problems with his back and such, hope he gets right and gets well. We gotta support some of the guys who gave so much of their bodies, and hes certainly one of them.

Darryl Talley was one of my favorite players. Speaking of being possessed while playing, Talley was definitely possessed. He was awesome.

Love listening to Darryl and Steve. I’d love to see Edmunds play so well the Bills are forced to offer him crazy money. I was at the ’88 game. I have never felt such elation in my life.

Gary Meyers

Always hear players have to step up in adversity. A good player should always be at his highest level. I think it’s more not stepping up but absolutely in no circumstance slack off.

Chris A.

Funny, both of these guys played against Tremayne Edmunds father (Ferrell Edmunds), when he was a Dolphins tight end back in the day.
