Latest Update on Lamar Jackson’s Ankle Injury; Ravens Are Confident in Tyler Huntley | Final Drive

Lamar Jackson has an ankle sprain. It’s not a high-ankle sprain, which is good news, Head Coach John Harbaugh said Monday. If Jackson misses time, the Ravens are confident in Tyler Huntley.

Man, I really hope the ravens can turn it around this season

    Ronde Murphy

@king shark I guess he’s aSteelers fan,. Hoping for 5-8. SMH

    Sharon Pittman

@Ronde Murphy LOL πŸ˜† πŸ˜‚ 🀣 πŸ˜…….at this point it can’t be “5-8” anyhoo… the worst we could have is “8-9″… but I think we’ll be more like “10-7” at worst-case. These games seem πŸ‘€ like they’re skewed towards gambling point spreads… so many things happening in 3 or more teams on the same game weeks…πŸ€” …just suspect…ijsπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈπŸ˜œπŸ€ͺ

    Ronde Murphy

@Sharon Pittman is winning at a rate of 8/13 more or less desirable than 5/13? Would you rather be 8/5 or proceed with a a negative win loss rate? If you could pick 8/5 or it’s inverse which one….never mind

    Sharon Pittman

@Ronde Murphy I understand what you mean… lol πŸ˜†! Of course we want and hope for the greater performance figures.

As long as Lamar is ready for the Cincy game we’re good that game is for the division

    david smith

Idk huntley seems to make quicker decisions than lamar and looks to handle the blitz a lil better so maybe might have a lil better chance i think Huntley throws a lil better ball than lamar too so who knows

    fleck Cadeau

@david smith You’re right. I think Lamar should hold out and find another team. I mean if you guys don’t want him anymore πŸ€·πŸΏβ€β™‚οΈ. Baltimore fans are ungrateful. I truly would like to see Lamar behind a better o line playing for a better OC.

    Anthony

@fleck Cadeau Oh cmon. Literally every single city is full of ungrateful fans. That’s the nature of sports. Fans are idiots, players just have to go out there and play. That’s sports.

That said I would be so bummed if Lamar didn’t sign long term here. He’s one of the best things to happen to the city in a while and is really a once in a generation talent. Be a shame to have that slip through the cracks.

    33Lady RAM

@fleck Cadeau – who said we don’t want Lamar? Those are not true Ravens fans. No way in h#$$ we would let him go! We appreciate Lamar and we know there are some questionable things going on with GRO

    Sharon Pittman

@fleck Cadeau , LOL πŸ˜†, unlike other fans… RAVENS Fans are extremely supportive but we are TRUTHFUL!!! We call it like we see πŸ‘€ it…ijsπŸ€·πŸ»β€β™€οΈ

Jordan watkins

Dont rush him let him rest

Big Jay

Start Huntley! Let Lamar rest for a week.

    Daniel Denning

We’re going against the packers this week don’t start huntley! We need lamar if we wanna have a chance of winning this.

    Daniel Denning

@DehydratedJumper In other words you saying throw away the ravens season. We got the packers, bengals, rams and steelers. We not making the playoffs if lamar sit till the playoffs

    Derrick luv

@Anthony Young Dude Snoop is a far better passer than Lamar and just as fast.
He can also read a defense better than Lamar.

Lamar is Alex Smith and Huntley is Mahomes.

    Anthony Young

    @Derrick luv gg ur high

@DehydratedJumper lucky to make the playoffs πŸ˜‚

Tell Lamar that Louisville is praying for his swift recovery β€οΈβ€πŸ©Ή L1C4

amber alert...a girl with a phone

HUNTLEY ,for now, is THE MAN!!!

    The Goat🐐

    Do you hate lamar jackson?

king shark

Here we go, and greenbay prepping for Huntley, they know Harbaugh playing secret squirrel games and will Lamar, lamar , lamar, then. Right before kickoff we find out its Huntley. The Chicago bears situation all over again.

Just big dawg up, and say we going with Huntley, we got house money to play with, cause the Bengals are back to bungles. Stop secret squirrel’n.

    glquam07

I like that term “secret squirrel’n”.

And I agree. Let Lamar heal up properly for Cincy. If he does play against Green Bay, I’d say he and Huntley work together; give the Packers a headache.

    king shark

@glquam07 …. yeah, let Lamar rest, cause what you seeing is right, a loss to greenbay wont hurt as much vs one vs Cincinnati or Pittsburgh. Let Huntley get that greenbay shot. Like I say, either we build a qb controversy or build Huntley into some much needed draft capital to rebuild the o line.

Jace Woods

Let Huntley get the reps remember when he found out he was going against Bears? Other than the first pass he was fine the way he gave everyone targets especially Bateman he’s quick thinking and decisive his running out of necessity it’s up to both O Lines and on D front 7 to stop A Rod and step on his toeπŸ€”πŸ˜

    DaNiggaLex

    🀣🀣 not the toooeee!

James Lyons

I see fair weather fans… the goal is the SB and even then its the winner that is remembered. Our team is wrought with injuries, and still we’re a winning team. Whomever is playing, is a Raven in the team concept. We’re a rally team this year because of the ever changing team mates. I believe Lamar is overthinking and believes that he can do it all. He can’t play all the positions. Lamar is at his best on ensuring that his fake handoffs freeze the defense. For him thats point A.work on it. Offense play to your strengths. Defense cover for one another. Win baby Win Go Ravens!

    JayDogTitan 1464

Great comment, Like 105.7 The Fan said and I agreed, The Ravens are battle tested, If they can get by Green Bay Sunday whoever is under center it will push this team forward to getting back to Ravens football. And possibly a SB.

Hscott410_

this team wouldn’t have 3 wins without Lamar.. huntley got no chance against greenbay, hope lamar is back sunday

William Demby

I LOVE MY Ravens!!!!.

Frosted Ice Pharoah

From what I’ve seen, the offense under Tyler is very similar to that under Lamar. Either way, it’s going to be tough to make the playoffs behind those lackluster slowpokes on the O-line.

    11:11 ViDZ

difference is we dont finish with hunt

    Markus Shaw

    @Dylan Martinelli if Rodgers plays

APSmokey

Somehow Greg Roman needs to know that Bateman needs more snaps and targets PERIOD.

RomeoU

Can’t rush with sore ankle so pass protect and quick passes are priority. Unleash West coast offense! And Huntley for QB rush plays!

dariuz johnson

I love my Ravens to pieces. Let’s Go!

Deandre Wade

Huntley gets more people involved in my opinion. A few more reps and practices and he would be a very good starting QB while Lamar is out

JayDogTitan 1464

I have confidence in Huntley, He threw for nearly 300 yards Sunday along with 1 TD, We all want Lamar back but Huntley is a qb that takes advantage of his opportunity.

33Lady RAM

Does anyone know if Bateman and Duverbay are on the second team practice with Huntley? It would explain the chemistry and why don’t we play Duvernay and Proche more? They have the best hands thus far. I looked at past highlights from this year and Lamar was spreading the ball. It was when we played the Dolphins things seem to be odd when Lamar kept targeting Hollywood for some odd reason or GRO put Hollywood in plays that obviously should have been a bigger receiver.

Rav Pol

I think Lamar should rest out this game and I’m confident in Huntley. I want Lamar to be 100%. If I’m correct I think this is a tactic to throw off the Packers because they’re ready for Lamar and not Huntley πŸ€·πŸΎβ€β™‚οΈ

Ron Edward

They need to just go ahead and start Tyler and let Lamar heal up. We don’t need Tyler using the 2nd qtr to warm up for the 2nd half. We need him to come in ready to go just like the Chicago game.
