Not gonna get on Lamar much this game cas nobody is a bigger critic of him than he is of himself. We know and He knows he didn’t play all that well tn, but he should be able to fine tune on his errors.

Back before everyone became obsessed with holding onto every single mistake that Lamar makes to try and prove their point, this used to be considered a classic, gutsy, championship caliber AFC North win.

Exactly. Lamar has to be literally perfect or he’ll get hate. He made it count when it mattered yesterday and that’s all that mattered.
As long as Lamar is playing, I’m rooting for him over any player. That doesn’t mean I can’t be honest and say he needs to keep with Mahomes and Allen as the elites of AFC. His ceiling is on the elite level as well. But failing to convert these 4th downs has been killing us lately since the middle of last year and he’s the type of player to demand to go on 4th down near every single time and he got that from his coach. It’s on Him and Harbaugh.

I’ve always hated the scrutiny on Lamar on every throw he doesn’t make.
Yes he missed Duvernay, he missed Wallace and overthrew Robinson.
Yet he made about a half dozen great throws on drives that led to points.
Furthermore, the team won the game and their quarterback made THE plays down the stretch.
I’ve been watching football for quite a while, and all quarterbacks, even the greatest of the great miss throws from time to time. Even yesterday while watching the Rams and Cowboys, there were several times when Stafford overthrew a receiver. Even the analyst mentioned how ALL quarterbacks have throws they wish they could get back.
I can’t even count how many games I’ve watched great quarterbacks miss throws… but apparently Lamar is the only quarterback to miss a wide open receiver.
SMH. The scrutiny will never end, even if the guy wins a super bowl.
