LaFleur Recaps Packers’ Draft, Conveys Desire For QB Rodgers To Return – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE

He KNEW the Rodgers stuff was coming lol. U could see it on his face.

    Chubbs

He was holding back tears. He looks legitimately sad and probably blames himself for not winning and/or not helping Rodgers. Gotta feel bad for him a little.

    Banquet Meal

    Everyone knew it was coming.

    urknahfirnauik

I remember Gutekunst first round draft press conference dude was sweating by the end of it.. they know the pressure this entails and that a lot of the NFL and media is putting the blame on them so they are forced to answer. Think Aaron instead of running from it should of said something more open about this situation at the derby considering these guys have to sit in front of the media and take the heat too.

    salva segarra

@Chubbs he is anything but the victim here, he wanted to draft Love in the first place.

    Briana W

Of course, anyone thinking it wouldn’t is fooling themselves.

Bob Trambley

I’ve been a Packer fan since I took notice of pro football back in 1965. Rodgers has a legitimate gripe.

    Steve Walsh

@Shark Rodgers has played well in the playoffs. It’s the defense year after years.

    Yahwen Yisra'el

@Shark you must know nothing about green bay these last 16 years

    KRaineyy4

@Shark if they will give him more on offense maybe he could put up 40+ in the playoffs since we keep drafting defense and still give up 30 points

    EL34Glo

    Facts

    Mathesonguy

@Steve Walsh What do you think of performance against the 49s two years ago? Did he play well? Last year the offensive line was as much to blame as anyone. Yes Rodgers still managed some magic but how can you predict a non contact ACL tear on your 26 million a year All Pro left tackle? Hardly the Packers fault as the TB defense was really much better than advertised this playoffs, ask Mahomes about that.

mr1d4 4ever

Feel for the guy. Looked like he was about to break into tears.

    Michael Mulcair

@kevin le kebbles if they have this great relationship why was there great enthusiasm on the face of lafleur when Jordan was drafted and don’t give me that bs off oh he’s only the coach he knows who’s getting drafted on the day and to not tell your franchise QB of who your taking is disrespectful. Without Rodgers we are in the top 10 picks drafting next year. I just feel that fine we picked Jordan love but we are in win mode right now and it wasn’t an area of need even though we had the number 1 offense last year a lot of times it was down to the greatness of Adams and Rodgers throwing other guys open at times

    Banquet Meal

@kevin le kebbles Then why not start him? If they were confident in Love they would trade Rodgers for 3 first round picks. Rodgers value will never be higher than what it is now. They know Jordan Love isn’t ready and they are scared to admit it.

    Briana W

@kevin le kebbles why wouldn’t you see Love dress on game day if he was not a failure? Isn’t that where they newbies learn? Like 100% of the backups do on all the teams

    Valley BOX Chevy

All coach wants is field goals no Aaron

    EL34Glo

Nah. Always looks like that. Literally

2323 1

The defence has always been the Achilles heel of the team after they had gone to the Superbowl.

    Mitch Staff

Losing BJ Raji and Nick Collins in their prime really hurt.

    Tay

What about against Tampa when the defense held Brady to three 3&outs and Rodgers couldn’t convert any points off of them. We keep talking about king but not that. This defense has gotten better year in and year out and they’ve been drafting and grabbing free agents to ensure it’s getting better.

    Mr. Cool

They weren’t last year they got much much better.

    Coyote112 12

@Tay because they had the best offense in the league, and put up 26 points against a monster Tampa defense and still lost. 12 of those points were scored by a mismatch with king. 11:00 1st qtr, 00:03 2nd qtr. Did you see what Tampa did to KC?

    Tay

@Coyote112 12 of course I did but I also saw oppritunities where we didn’t even get out of our side of the field when it counted most. That’s why the field goal was made because it was guaranteed points.

Jacob Clarke

He knows Aaron is already gone. Looks like he’s about to cry. This will be the ultimate test of Lafleur’s offense

    Briana W

@Robert Witt I agree, considering how Rodgers holds grudges, yeah I think he’s gone too

    Jerry

There is simple solution. Fire GM

    EL34Glo

    @DuskThunder9 Rodgers will be back

    EL34Glo

@Yahwen Yisra’el Bro he strait up always looks like that lol

    DuskThunder9

@EL34Glo lol he’s gone bruh ur in denial he wants out

Remy Lucai

Matt Lafleur needs to watch “Dreamgirls”, and try to sing Aaron back.

    Heyward Hollis

    Finally a reasonable take.

    John Galt

    😂

    Immanuel Santiago

a trick : you can watch series at flixzone. I’ve been using it for watching a lot of movies during the lockdown.

    Markus Jagger

@Immanuel Santiago definitely, been using flixzone for since december myself =)

kwflemmonds

You want him back on your terms and he’s to smart to fall for it😂😂😂

    Ajarn Eddie Clips

    too

    J T

You don’t know the truth. Only 1 person does

    kwflemmonds

@Ajarn Eddie Clips one of those ppl😏

    kwflemmonds

Never understood them and the decisions they’ve always made but he should have gone a long time ago.

    Mathesonguy

@kwflemmonds Well if Rodgers’ is as smart as you claim he really didn’t show it when signing that contract extension, cause he is under contract for 3 more years.

Aswin Prasad

“He’s our qb”
That’s what they said about Goff, that’s what they said about Wentz.

    Ki

This is nothing like those situation

    Sam Ebiha

This is totally different like @Ki said

    Dicezart

😂 comparing the league MVP to Wentz & Goff smh

    Owen Smith

Imagine comparing Goff and Wentz to Rodgers

    Nicholas Edwards

    Packers down bad

Ezra X

Remember how excited he was when they drafted Love last year?

Isaiah Whiteside

Lefleur is a tough minded coach, this situation is out of his hands fellas, comin from Bears 🐻 fan, Rodgers is the best Qb the Pack will ever see period, but it’s safe to say that they are prepping for a life without Rodgers

    Andrew Wilson

    In your dreams pal

    Zenith Bear

@Andrew Wilson I’ll come back to this to laugh at you so hard when Rodgers leave 😂

    sebastiannalfredoo

🤣 what are you basing that on? Rodgers already explained that he loves being a packers and that everything was taken way out of hand. When we beat you 2 times this season i’ll come back to this comment don’t worry🤣

    sebastiannalfredoo

@Zenith Bear i’ll come back and laugh when we beat you 2 times next year🤣🤣🤣 like every single year

Jay Delgado

Well if he ain’t back thank management and let’s keep on truknnnn

Uria85

What LaFleur should be saying,”Can not play without him. Can not win without him. Can not coach without him. Can’t do it.”

    Samuel Bean

    Perfectly Said

    Tony Montana

Lots of careers depend upon him, even the draft choices most likely have no interest in Green Bay without the presence of a winner like Rodgers.

    My Mom

    🤣🤣😂

    tae johnson

Lafleur schemes people open so easy making life easier for Rodgers. Rodgers even stated he gets players “college wide open”. So if Rodgers leaves bring on Love I’m not worried especially with that mountain of an offensive line. Our offense will still be potent as long as Love is solid which what I like about this offensive system you don’t need an elite QB.

    kcloutier1123

Everyone said that about Favre too. A Rodgers was booed the first time he took a snap. Guy has won 1 Super Bowl. Brady has won like 40 with the same type of players. The only thing the packers didn’t do right was fire McCarthy years ago

Romero R

I hope this gets resolved do it’ll shut up all the pundits..they’re getting annoying.

John McMurray

Aaron Rodgers becomes the very first NFL quarterback/head coach. Then he gets the players he needs to win.

Robert Bish

When we won 🏆the supèr bowl Arod missed a few games with a concussion. When asked what he missed the most, he replied “my teammates ! Will that love for his teammates bring him back this time? Stay tuned- –

Cathy Norris

Looks like Aaron knows Jordan Love not ready and has passive aggressively unleashed his scorched earth plan.

    Briana W

Exactly! He was not even given the heads up about the Packers moving up in the draft to pick his replacement. And considering Rodgers holds grudges like he does, this was inevitable

    M N

I can’t even blame Rodgers. The guy played through a fractured leg, carries the team for a decade. The man had a great year and carried them to NFCC. And they stabbed him in the back. The man had done more than Gutes. He deserved the respect of being told at the very least. Overall they should’ve gotten Tee Higgins or Patrick Queen. No excuses.

Cathy Norris

Aaron’s tactics have gone too far. He called the Packers bluff. Sad it has come to this.

Peter Ohrmund

Hey Matt, thank you’re GM. He made this mess.

Eddie

This year is mvs’s year!!!

Tie One On

SURE wish they didnt let Tim Boyle go now! The guy knew the offense and was accurate
