Why would we draft a 4th round corner to come and start was the question. Had nothing to do with Tavon Young.
Humphrey was an 1st team all pro in the slot. Trading or signing a proven outside corner in Bradberry would allow us to put Humphrey in the slot and have Bradberry and peters on the outside.
@Cloud Averett signed with the raiders and Chris Westry signed with the panthers. We need corner depth which is what those 2 rookies are. If we dont make any corner moves then we plan on starting Stephens in the slot

He’s so even-keeled and unfazed. He’s like Flacco at safety. People didn’t like the lack of expression at the draft, but when you’re up by a score against a good QB late in the fourth and need to keep your nerve and shut down a drive, this is the kinda ice cold killer you want back there.
Why would someone dislike the lack of expression?

Cause people wanna see tears and elation and young men being overwhelmed that their dream came true. They wanna see some type of an acknowledgement that this is a big deal. Draft reactions are the man-version of proposals. When the guy is calm, it makes them feel he doesn’t care. Which is totally unfair, of course
