@DoobSac That’s actually a good point because he always says “I’ll have to watch the tape” after every time. If he actually watched how the plays he calls work out on the field, he could actually make adjustments instead of following his preset gameplan

@S G It’s funny because after half time the announcers said they asked why Chubb wasn’t on the field and were told that it was to get Chubb rest. Now Chubb had a rib injury? Besides, it’s not just a this week thing where Stefanski benches Chubb for entire drives, or decides to go 1st pass 2nd pass 3rd pass 4th punt. Stefanski’s management and usage of Chubb is a major problem and hopefully ownership and management makes him bring in an OC who will call the actual plays and utilize the best player on the offense and top 3 back in the NFL.

@Sir Mang Correct. In every lose this year we can see a weakness in either QB, offence, defense, penalties, or special teams. But play calling is obvious in all of them and is the easiest one to address. Management has to take the play calling away from Stefanski.

@detroit what they were never planning to win this year. They’re trying to be the Rams. Baker is gone. They got the defense a year in the system and they will promote Njoku and waive hooper possibly. They also might be waiting to unleash him with their new QB. Or they will trade everything for CJ stroud and let Baker play one more year and walk. 0% chance he’s here in 2 years and most likely he’s gone in the offseason.

@detroit what also you can’t plan long term until you’re settled at QB. They were willing to waste a season to make sure they knew the answer. They didn’t need to do him like that though

@th2k there’s no question he sabotaged him. That’s what I mean when I say Baker is too young to see how the game is played. If he got surgery Stefanski couldn’t sabotage him and he could use the injury excuse. Now he’s screwed because several times he said he’s feeling better than ever etc. Stefanski was giving Baker rope to hand himself and Baker put it around his neck. Everyone wants to criticize black athletes, but now maybe people will see why they do what they do. A franchise will destroy your career to send a message. Baker is probably done. Nobody can take him seriously anymore.

@Hull James If you love the game, how do you not show any life during the game. He does not motivate the players by being Mr. cool. I’ve been a Browns fan since Jim Brown so I’ve been disappointed a lot of years but this year was the worst because of Stefanski wasting all this talent by not knowing how to use it correctly.

Even the announcers were implying that they should be running more. And yes, one 3rd string lineman to stop Watt ALL game, not changing anything! He goes from best coach of the year to The worst coach of the year!

Not to mention Chubb proved that game he could bust out for big yards. The left side is strong too, maybe try that out once in a while.

Correct. Outside of the big run he had he had a low average per carry, but he’s a back that gets better the more Carrie’s you give him. Kevin did not do a good job of play calling and adjusting the scheme for TJ Watt, but he’s a smart coach. I have faith he’ll learn from this game.

Steelers aren’t ranked the worst run defense team. They are 27th lol.

@avonbarksdale91 Last year too. It crossed my mind that how did baker have an amazing season last year and now this year he’s playing while injured. This year has been on Stefanski and Baker. Sometimes the defense but they stepped up.
