Don’t think I’ve ever seen such a dramatic turnaround of an opinion from pundits. Started with “Herberts gonna be the biggest bust in history, and will lead to his coaches being fired”… to “He could be 1 of the greatest quarterbacks ever, and will be the league mvp”…. all BEFORE his rookie season ended. He went from “satan incarnate” to “God in the flesh.”
As an OR fan it was sickening to hear the bust label. The national media had zero clue of the kids intangibles. With that raw talent, the work ethic, demeanor, what’s between the ears and the person is more important. So proud of him.
