Justin Fields reflects on loss to Falcons | Chicago Bears – FANTASY FOOTBALL FAN SITE
Brandon Brock

the play calls and the lack of urgency on the last drive were an obvious tank job which is fine but don’t get your QB killed in the process. Playcalling and o line is going to ruin him before he can have a somewhat competent team around him

    Anthony Jefferson

    Preach in young dolph voices

    Josh317

Yes Brandon, protect QB1 at all costs! Seems they’re getting lackadaisical about that

    Yu Toob

@Josh317 there’s nothing they can do

    Doug G

Nah I think it was just bad playcalling .

Michael Davis

His shoulders are on a 45 degree angle…that’s probably not ideal.

    ron romano

    broken

    Iridesnw

    Probably wrapped

    shadytoast

    @ron romano nah

Daemon Maskala

He has the size to take hits, but not to take them every play. Hes a qb first, and we need to protect him like one.

    YEAHHHHH BUDDDDDDDY

@Tamehameha Prints HAVE YOU SEEN TUA’S OFFENSIVE LINE ANDDDDDD ELITE RECEIVERS CLOWN!!!🤡🤡🤡

    Adarll Kelly

Fields needs to start speaking up for himself & Start yelling at the REFS TO STOP ALLOWING THEM LATE HITS ON HIM🤕

    Ethan Gustafson

@George Nashalyou are actually dumb af. dudes already our best qb in franchise history after one year.

    George Nashal

@Ethan Gustafson ummm ok, Sparky Ethan! Must be a Chreesehead. 🙄

    Thomas Gena

@O’Shae Barton You guys are 100% right — that Mooney wasn’t running full out, until it was too late.
But, that’s what occurs with a “running QB.” The same thing happened with Randall Cunningham through Lamar Jackson. WRs don’t prosper in such situations — and remember, QBs are going to get their money.
WRs make money when they’re paired with pocket passers. Look around the NFL, if you need proof.

Jared Perry

Hope your okay bro hope you heal up fast and back to your normal self 🙏

John Allen

The defense and Special Teams loses the game once again. And the OC got Just Fields hurt in the process! Well done Bears! Well done!

Eventually the Tide will Turn, I Trust BEARS will Make the Right Moves to make this Team a Winner, Gotta Keep Up with the Dream 🧡💙🏈🐻⬇️🙏🏾

    Next year

    Pablo Moreno

I’m still keeping rhat dream alive “Go Bears”

Great job Justin ❤ I see you 👀 absolutely 💯 with this you good man! You will definitely win a Super Bowl in a year or two and God only knows how many more .

    Jeff Bayne

“A Super Bowl win in a year or two”? Wow… I guess you see Fields getting traded to a good team. That is Totally Beyond any kind of reality with The Bears! They aren’t even close to winning the Central Division in a year or two… This team has developed the Habit of LOSING and it is very difficult to change that culture… They are getting beaten by every mediocre team in the NFL. Every lousy team awaits their chance to play the Bears so they can break their own losing streak. I know Justin Fields is trying his best and must be frustrated by being on such a Crappy team but The Bears are not on any kind of trajectory that suggests they are only a year or two from WINNING the Super Bowl…

    K B

@Jeff Bayne He is not really hurt my dude he faking it acting like he is IR is coming he lost that game on purpose. I seem to see it you don’t. But also they playing for draft picks they seen all they needed to see from him they needed to lose and keep losing put him on IR for the rest of the season lose out 100 plus in cap space plus 9 or more picks in the draft and yeah next year lol 😂 you slow ketchup tomato

    YEAHHHHH BUDDDDDDDY

@Jeff Bayne YOU CLEARLYYYYYYY HAVEN’T HEARD THE NEWS BUDDY! THEY HAVE 100 MILLION TO SPEND ON FREE AGENCY ANDDDDDDD THEY HAVE 8 DRAFT PICKS!!! THAT O-LINE AND D-LINE WILL BE TOTALLY DIFFERENT!!! ANDDDDDDD WE WILL HAVE AT LEAST 1 “ELITE” RECEIVER! YOU BETTER WAKE UP AND SMELL THE COFFEE DUDE!!🤣

Christopher Monroe

Losing competitively is fine, but we have to protect Fields at all costs or it won’t matter.

Allen Norris

I feel his pain. He wants that q&a to be over. It’s stressful putting on that plastic facade, we all have to put on the plastic smile day to day. That 9 -5 is unforgiving

    luc rative

My man, if you need to fake smile to hide pain every day you should seriously talk to a therapist. That isn’t normal or healthy.

    JRdelaMancha

Especially when you know that the refs are who control the game and not your passionate effort to succeed.

hoaky s

Rest up g, good game 💪🏽 this season don’t matter, stay healthy

jack lafary

he’s standing how i walk around right now with a messed up shoulder. maybe that is just his posture but i have a tore up shoulder and one sags and one is right up there. i really like him. i hope the bears can figure out their job to help him flourish

PhatMikeSP1

I don’t know how people can hate on J Fields, after watching the Cowboys stomp the Vikings, you can clearly see how important an O Line is, Kurt Cousins under pressure all day with the best WR and more weapons put up worse numbers and 3 whole points

Daniel Orta

im proud of where the bears are an its because of justin not juss giving up… but hopefully he can give us many more seasons

Keeys

I was pissed at the fact that they didn’t allow him to PASS the damn ball as much! You can tell he didn’t want to run much this game. He stood tall in the pocket, even when the lanes were open for him to run. They need to allow him to make mistakes so he can correct it and learn each game; and the offseason. We know we’re tanking, so why the hell are we not allowing him to pass the ball in critical situations. This needs to be fixed before the year is over!

    Thomas Gena

If” they’re tanking” — they’re doing it to get Bryce Young (or a QB that Ryan Poles would select — not the one that Ryan Pace selected).
Ryan Poles’ position as the Bears GM is premised on wins — not the levels of excitement and player jersey sales.
The Falcon’s game plan was simple: “Make Justin Fields play quarterback.”
Poles can not have been impressed with JF1’s performance.

    Keeys

@Thomas Gena stop it. He’s our QB going forward, if you don’t like it, stop watching our games wasting your damn time. It’s simple. He’s the best out of that draft class and is playing much better than his peers

MountainSnowInc

We need to take care of this man.

MarcoGlo

He looks broken man look at his eyes 🙏🏼 let’s pray for our QB1

    SOUFSIDESHCAGO

    He’s not broken. He’s injured.

Chicago loves you Justin! ❤🫶🏼 Your an amazing quarter back and the best Chicago’s EVER had! We stand behind you!!! You have killed it this season and need you safe and healthy, because we’re about to win a super bowl next year baby!! 🏈 🎉

    Pablo Moreno

    Right on

    Mr Heater Pedro

idk man we might need another year just to solidify our team.

Sebastian C

I was at the game and for a moment I thought we had this game in the bag. But per the usual, defense, special teams and the refs set us up for failure. JF1 looks defeated in this post game conference. Hoping he recovers well. No question that he’s our Franchise QB. BEAR DOWN

ATL1

As a Falcon fan that loves Justin I was getting pissed by the play calling just thinking of Tua’s situation. Smh protect my guy he really a dawg and has so much ahead of him for his career 💯🙏🏾 speedy recovery ❤️‍🩹

dumxyrzcky

you can see his pain in his eyes, i feel so bad for him.💔💔

    Mark Jackson

Look at it another way. It’s part of growing (process), appreciate how he’s handling it, which is masterfully (considering how young he is). It shouldn’t be easy this early anyway. Also, remember, several teams passed on him, which allowed the Bears to get him. I still don’t believe he wasn’t drafted right after (or even before) Lawrence.
