Study a little. A bunch of 1 year contracts to float them as they build in the draft (when they get picks). This year will not be great and next year will still be suboptimal. Year three is where we can expect real improvement.

I agree! Getting rid of Matt Nagy was a Big Positive for The Bears!!! If he ever had a “System” he was unable to communicate it to the offense and the defense faltered and got worse every year after the first year when they surprised everyone with Khalil Mack…

As much as I love JF, I don’t think the Bears are Super Bowl contenders yet. I hope we will at least win more games than last year.

@Tiff Tiff I agree with you, except on the goatee matter. I agree with you that we aren’t SB contenders yet, but I believe we will get more wins in the upcoming season. Also, I think that at least next season we could maybe see a playoff game (not necessarily a win though).

Dude you don’t need the qualifiers, we’ve all watched those dudes, and I assume most Bears fans are like me in that when they watch Fields, they can see something completely different. This man is going to be a very good QB, hopefully a great one, but I don’t think any Bears fan needs to justify being excited by him.

Good to see he has a competent coach and management not hellbent on sabotaging him like Matt The Hack Nagy did last season.
last year his press conferences were touch and go, he was obviously nervous and didn’t know his place but this year it’s a whole different vibe. this man is THE man and he knows it
I remember early in his last college year he was all the college and pro tv personalities could talk about then when it got time for the draft all of a sudden there were all these questions…I was even like maybe this guy sux but he’s a great talent and I hope they get a offensive line together this year or next before they ruin him because he can truly be great in this league.
Year 2 will be INSANE stacked up against his rookie year. Yes more weapons and better protection will help a lot (hopefully decent additions with the draft) but the simple change in the whole coaching staff will greatly improve this offense.
