i hate to have a guy have a “cut or stay on the team” choice come down to a kick (yes a game winner) in the first preaseason game …. I mean it’s an important kick but it’s only one kick … I hope he gets another chance … if he still misses kick after kick … I wish him the best but we cant have that at the kicker spot
To me it looked worse because it would have won the game … and it wasn’t like it was no where close to the uprights … like an INCH or two to the left and it’d be good … yes that one kick could have had more force on it but it’d just hit the right crossbar higher …
I wish him well and hope he has a chnace to prove that was ONE bad kick … nothing to worry about
he wasnt making the team no matter what…no team keeps 2 kickers
