Lindsay will have to out work Gordon. Competition will make Lindsay a better running back and the Broncos offense will benefit for it. It’s a business
Ig Philip will take most of the carry’s and Melvin Gordon will be more of a 3rd down running back and useful in the red zone as well or other short yardage situations.
I like the Gordon signing. Gordon and Lindsay splitting the workload only helps the Broncos offense. Lindsay will get his touches

Island Fantasy yeah I had kind of the same debate with somebody, they thought that teams(not specifically the broncos) should have traded for him rather than let him get cut. They said that assuming a 19 mil contract fro him would be a steal. It’s crazy. He’s a QB who has never really been very good at throwing the ball, Ironic. On top of that he isn’t better than any of the current starters on any team, so he’s a back up. And than to add to all of that there are serious injury concerns. People generally have no idea what they are talking about on YouTube, my friend.

Lindsay has earned his keep and pay. Don’t get greedy when it comes to studs like Philip Lindsay.
Phillip Lindsay is the better RB. Go compare stats. Lindsay has outperformed Melvin and he will continue to do so. PL averages more ypc, ypg, has 0 nfl fumbles, 2-1000 yard seasons. Melvin fumbled 4 times last year and 14 total times for career. Melvin has only had 1-1000 yard season. MG has only averaged over 3.9 yards per carry in 1 season. Phillip has averaged 5.4 amd 4.9 ypc in both seasons. Phillip will not be outperformed. If he loses his job it won’t be due to performance. He will win the job on the field. It will be front office politics. PL is faster, more durable (believe it or not. MG has only had one season where he didn’t miss games) PL has better vision and passion runs through his veins.
