    The leaders of the defense need to step up. Need to get that 🔥 going like back when this D had some intensity.

    A few things… defensive play around the league is nowhere near the level we normally see. The majority of teams are struggling on D this season as most teams are scoring way more than usual. Also, its almost impossible to keep a defense playing at such a high level for more than a few seasons. The D was great for 3 years in a row but it was inevitable that they would eventually regress. It has happened to a lot of teams (i.e Seahawks). Look at the teams with the best defenses the last few years and see how they’re doing this season.

    @Jeff Erckert i agree. I think fans have alot to do with this. We saw in the nba where players were shooting light out. Kcs d wasnt good but they played to beat us. Points have shot up around the nfl bc less distraction. There are few teams that have very good D right now. Early season but we need to figure things out real quick.

Maybe our D isn’t as elite as it seemed last year… look who we played… Fins x 2, Jets x 2, Giants, Washington, Bengals, Browns, Mariota Titans, Duck Hodges Steelers, Cowboys, got smoked by a below average Philadelphia, 2 x Patriots who’s offense was nothing special, really the only good team we did play was Ravens.
