The guard position is very underappreciated.
Any guard that gets remembered for years and years after retirement is a Hall of Famer

Besides being the best lineman for Pittsburgh for years,what else does he need?
The way we are going we wont have any numbers left ! I think we should award players a GOLD or PLATINUM number with a cash amount rather than continuing to retire numbers because soon the players will be wearing letters such as B or R which is nuts !But FAN was the joint he could clear things out and he was dominating, why its taking him so long makes me suspect to the voting process that takes place between the judges and why I think its personal at times! Alan Faneca was dominant and was always ALL-PRO annnnnd HE IZ a STEELER !!!!!Oh yeah Im really surprised that DeCastro was allowed to wear that # yet if someone was going to wear it ,let it be DeCastro because he is very close to that type of guard, otherwise to me , this STEELER fan, it would be an insult for him to wear that #
They dont protect jersey numbers when a guy moves to another team. Look at all the 26’s since Woodson.

I’ve never heard of this dude. Note I was born in October of 2004 and started watching football 2010. But at that point I really didn’t have a favorite team. It was 2013 when I chose Steelers as my favorite team. I’ve never heard of him so I apologize
