These questions are not fair to Goff IMO:
1. The pick-six was Stenbergs fault…dude was a pylon and gave Goff zero time….watch the video again
2. The throw to Chark was perfect…..he gave Chark credit, but the *throw* made the play.
3. The question about play action was accusatory, but JG was humble and said it helped….it did help, but Goff didnt miss many throws……LOTS of drops….not his fault.
This town is BRUTAL on QBs…..probably because we never win and the QB is an easy scapegoat. Im not a huge Goff fan, but the dude didn’t F this one up for us.
@Ken2win did you not see the defense allow 31 points and 200+ rushing?
@Silent if you was really watching the game you’ll notice we went 3 & out the majority of the 2nd quarter because the offense couldn’t move the ball. Which the eagles put up 24 points all in the 2nd quarter. There’s no way any defense can be on the field that long and hope for the other team not to score.
@Ken2win ok so? What does that have to do with the 2nd half? Offense put up 35 points and when the team needed them to make a stop the defense failed point blank period and you trying to blame the defense being tired as to why they were horrible doesn’t hold water. Defense was fucking useless last season as well. So stop with the excuses the defense was terrible and folded like a chair when the team absolutely needed a stop just like last season.
@Silent they only scored 10 point second half. That does means a lot. You act like the defense is robots. You have to get a break. If Goff don’t throw that pick 6 then we would’ve won. The offense only put up 7 in the 1st quarter how can you blame the defense. You have a quarterback making 30 million and only won 3 games. C’mon this is common senses

@Ken2win, I have been a fan since the tail end of the latter end of the earlier Detroit Lions “silver face mask” era and into the “blue face mask” era from the Pontiac Silverdome to Ford Field… into the 1st and 2nd “black face mask” eras into the present “silver face mask” era.
This is a new season and new week and new day, 2022 Detroit Lions will bounce back and be winning this season. Week 1, yes, our Detroit Lions can’t just start off strong.. we have to play strong, not drop the lead and end stronger. Detroit Lions have to start off and finish with winning. Detroit Lions can do this.
I will be praying for our Detroit Lions too.
