Stafford is a better QB, but Jared Goff is a better winning player. He knows how to win games, especially in the playoffs.

You do also realize the game that got the rams to the super bowl is the game that put pass interference in to the challenge rule (the non call that worked in the rams favor)
You do realize goff led the rams to 3 points in the super bowl
You do realize goff has the most turnovers out of any QB in the last 2 years
In Goff’s 69 games he has 55 ints and 42 fumbles
These are just things i hope you realize about Goff . i dont hate the guy i just dont think he’s has good has his record suggest he should be

Stafford left us in a good spot. Hopefully Goff takes off, he has two years to prove it before we can cut him at no loss. Im rooting for him because his mechanics look elite.
Honestly….Coming from a Rams fan…I will miss Goff a lot. We got Stafford and I’m thankful. Bur I was one of the few fans that really stuck up for Goff when a lot of people were shitting on him. @J R I think Stafford is elite. Don’t get me wrong. He was just in a shitty franchise for the longest time. But Goff was literally given up on after the dude. Had help one year and then the next 2 years. Little to no help. It sucks.

@Yossi Melamed I think it was the best call. Stafford would of retired next year if we kept him. At least now we get a potential franchise QB and draft picks. Plus seeing Stafford have his best shot at a super bowl will be fun.

Only Qb to win more Games than Goff since 2017. Is Brady. He also has a 42-21 Record as a Ram and knows how to win. Even last season with a Broken season. He and the defense led my Rams to beating the seahawks and he played extremely well against the packers with a broken thumb. He’s a baller.
The Lions just pulled off a Babe Ruth trade on the Rams when they got Goff.
Rams fan here: Goff is better than people generally give him credit for. Put him with a staff that places their full confidence in him, and he’ll do well. McVay kinda just lost his trust in him, and changed the scheme to something that Jared was uncomfortable with, and that brought his performance down even further.

Goff helped carry my Rams to the playoffs 3 out of his last 4 years and almost won us a damn Superbowl but our offensive line decided to stay home that day. Reminder, Goff didn’t have his #1 weapon in Cooper Kupp and Todd Gurley was only at about 20% during the biggest game of their lives. Gurely was a spectator from the sidelines 95% of the game and he was the biggest threat and best RB in the entire league up until that point. Mofo’s be having amnesia and forgot that Goff was taking opposing teams apart when protected properly. And let’s not forget about all the perfectly thrown passes Goff’s receivers have been known to drop causing deflections and interceptions since taking over as QB1. I remember Brandon Cooks dropping a dime from Goff in the end zone during SB53 that would have swung the momentum over in favor of the Rams. The Rams were the better team by far that year but McVay decided to be conservative to the point that it cost the team a championship. Dude beat the Seahawks during last years NFC wild card game with a surgically repaired thumb in his throwing hand for Pete’s sake. Goff’s thumb had been recently broken less than 2 weeks before the game yet he still delivered. Goff is solid and he’s definitely not a scrub. Horns Up!

I feel like both teams got what they needed. McVay got his deep threat play action QB and the Lions get a fresh start.
