He was thrown into the mix out of nowhere, and that obviously took a toll on him. I think he’s fantastic though, and that his potential is through the roof. He now has this week to prepare knowing he will most likely start next week, and I’m excited to see him play in the right headspace.

    yeah no one remembers that teddy actually struggled a bit when drew got injured last season in that first relief game; but after that he went off(ofc adapting on part of sean payton helping tremendously). i think the saints might actually look MORE vertical now.

For those who weren’t impressed with Winston think about teddy baller when he was thrown in the mix with the rams last year. But if drew needs time off give Payton and Winston a week of first team snaps and preparation, Winston will ball and I think might even open up the offense even more as Winston likes to sling it and take shots.
