Nick needs to give up play calling an Hurts needs to learn to throw with anticipation. To often hes late on the throw an ruins the timing of the play. With that being said they have a great foundation to build off of an those 3 first rounders are gonna be big. Winning year a playoff game an 3 first rounds next year in a building year! I think it’s safe to assume that most of us didn’t expect them to get as far as they did… BUT they got to the playoffs and overcame a lot of inner and outer adversity. I personally did NOT expect – given how this team has grown and evolved – to come in and lose the way they did. I didn’t see any “heart” today… Somehow, I didn’t see a sense of urgency either. Maybe I’m wrong… but something was truly missing today from our eagles team during the game.
I just hope that this team (coaching staff, and those players who will still be around next year) reflects on this season and over the offseason, learn from this. Regular season games aren’t the same as playoff games, and many of our players got a taste of what playoff football (and playing a playoff caliber team (and the GOAT) feels like. I’m looking forward and optimistic to what this offseason will bring, and – even though I’m still hurting from the beatdown we took today… I can walk away with a positive outlook of how far this team had come this year.
@Brian Berson Which are all good options or if they feel the need to they can package those picks and move into the top 10 still. They’re in a good spot they have a good draft capital and room to make moves this offseason. No need to rush things, hopefully they hit on these picks.
@Roseboy DBN I would be ok with trading a pick 15 or 16 for a later 1st and early second. I am even ok with trading one for next year and getting another 2nd this year but they need to pick a lb, safety wr and edge rusher in 1st n second. They are so concerned trying to replace veterans that they forget about their holes in roster. Even if we took lindebaum and Kenyon green still doesn’t give us lb wr and safety help. Seaumalo can play center and Dickerson guard. We need defensive players to generate sacks and pressure and cb and safety for ints. Also a wr to stretch field. I take Drake London and pick upike Williams now u got weapons

Jalen played pretty good this year, especially for being a first time season starter in the NFL. He has tons of room to improve, and the Ealges can build around him. We went from 2-5 to making the playoffs. I 100% believe in Jalen Hurts, and I can’t wait to see what he has to offer next year if they keep him. Let’s see how next season unfolds! Fly Eagles Fly! 🦅

Jalen, If you’re traded, God got something great instore for you. You will be put in a better situation. Perhaps Green Bay or Pittsburgh where the organizations and fans stand behind their quarterbacks. They understand the building of a team.

I love his attitude. He is truly hungry for victories. That’s what all the greats have in common. Great leader and he is so young. I hope we stay with Hurts as he and the team improves. Remember, it’s a brand new team.
I have so much respect for this young man! He’s been a class act since I’ve watched him in College and he has not only excelled on the field but as a human being. You guys didn’t get the outcome you wanted but like you said you’re HUNGRY to come back and get a different result next year. Jalen gonna go into this offseason and become a better passer just like he did after losing the national championship job in Alabama came back the next year WON IT BACK IN THE NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP then went on to Oklahoma to throw 30+ TDs and I can’t wait to see it. This year was a rebuild and we made playoffs bro … We are sitting higher than projected to be. Players need to get to work and fix the things they lack and Howie needs to get to making moves. Next year gonna be a good one I feel it 💯

The definition of a cool calm and collected dude. Regardless of the field, I can see why ppl like him as a leader.
Hurts has all the potential to be a great qb. He will come back next year and surprise all the doubters. From game 1 to this last game he improved as a passer, don’t judge him off this loss. He did progress and that was DURING the season. He will come back more accurate trust me. Remember this comment. Take a look at Josh Allen, his first year was mediocre and the following year his completion percentage went up 6 percent. The year after that his completion percentage went up 11%. That’s 17% in 2 years. Hurts is that guy you’ll see.
He is a tough man, hopefully he can train properly this off-season bc he now knows what a full season is like. & on top of that hopefully he understands the defense and how to manipulate it to his benefit (for next season)
