When we traded Brown, all my judgement was clouded but now that I think about it. This was an amazing draft for us
fr. we got the best center in years to come out of the draft (not to mention robbed the bengals of him) and now have a literal wall (providing stanley is good to go) around lamar. just a reminder that in 19, lamar threw 36, yes 36! tds to seth roberts, willie snead, and hollywood. now we have bateman, wallace (who is a solid option at wr2 (just look at his college highlights and stats, he really can be great) and duvernay as wr3. plus we can always run a 2 TE set with likely and mandrews, who both are great pass catchers. ill take that over a worse o-line and hollywood any day. and like other people said, I liked hollywood the person a lot more than hollywood the player. its not like were losing a randy moss in him.

@North East Of course. I honestly don’t think they need to go crazy about finding a so-called #1 though like a lot of people do. Our offense functions just fine with TEs as receiving threats, and we have that now with the two we added. Receivers are just a plus, and I think they’ll find at least one good one (in addition to what we think Bateman can be) from giving all these young guys a chance in camp and preseason. And that would be enough. We’re not the Chiefs and we shouldn’t try to be. Run the ball, throw short passes, and occasionally go deep when somebody breaks open.
Mine wasn’t. I thought it was an excellent trade. We got back a 23rd pick for a 25th pick that honestly never played like anything better then a 3rd round pick!
I think people are sleeping on the rest of our recievers. Rashod is going to straight ball this season. And I expect Duv and Proche to both have breakout type seasons as well honestly. Plus those young TE’s with Andrews. Pass game has alot of potential. Possibly even more now tbh.
You could tell EDC was overwhelmed because he was set up for Jordan Davis and luckily Hamilton did drop to 14. Unfortunately for Hamilton he probably instantly knew he would be in the Ed Reed talk due to being in Baltimore he seemed a little nervous himself

I admit, I wanted Davis there, til the Eagles jumped us. I was disappointed (not at getting Kyle but at losing out on the player I thought was perfect for us), until we got Jones at 76. Totally worth losing out.

Im so happy that we didn’t get Jordan Davis because we gotten a great player and a huge steal in Hamilton. If we would have pick Jordan Davis. We wouldn’t have drafted a another steal in the 3rd round with the DT Travis Jones

You could tell EDC still nervous when he does the calls He told Hamilton at the end ..that “we are about to turn the card in so watch the TV you’ll see yourself” when Hamilton was actually at the draft and would be walking🚶♂️across the stage when they call his name lol..good stuff there

Even Roger told Kyle ‘you’re going to a great organization/defense’. He knew, Kyle was definitely a little hurt he didn’t go in the top 10. I thought he’d be gone by 14. Once he slipped past 10, my mind was racing for us to snag him. So happy we got him, what he brings physically will allow the defense to matchup well down the road. Not often you see a 6’4 versatile safety. Especially slipping past his value as a premier player.
So happy to have him seems like an all around great guy we love a family man💜
He’s happy but all biz and we have to remember all offseason he was a top five pick so I can see a little chip building there 💪🏾😈💯
