Did you just become a fan? What?! The team isn’t as bad as some fans whine!

With all respect to the Ravens, while Hamilton and Linderbaum are great players at their positions, their positions, Safety and Center, are hardly high value positions. The Jets got a #1 CB, a #1 WR, and a great Edge, all more valuable positions than Safety and Center. And while the Ravens got 2 solid TEs, we got the best of the 3.

100%! Who’s team is better and moving up? Sure the Ravens got those two guys in the 1st, but they traded away their best receiver and their QB could be on the move soon.

Jets are by far the team with the best draft! Everyone will see it in the next 2 years👏👏

    ursdj17

@Lindles J not the best team – arguably the best draft. They did have the most capital though so it makes sense. However, the Giants did too and they look like they have a lot of gambles after day 1.

@ursdj17 you never know what Zach brings to the table I’m being positive…..

Joe Douglas’ first draft was a combination of year one of Covid, which screwed everything up, and 2) Adam Gase, who was primarily responsible for getting Joe hired. The transformation since Saleh and his team have arrived couldn’t be clearer.

Joe has been taking some flak recently, but much of the work Joe had done in year one and two was to acquire the picks this year that gave him the flexibility to hit it out of the park. Five of our nine picks were acquired from other teams, including the #10 we got Garrett Wilson with, and the 2nd we used for Breece Hall, as well as the 5th that we used in the trade for JJ.

This is as complete a roster as I can remember in my almost 50 years of Jets fandom.

Best 5 guys at their position. CB, WR, DE, RB and TE (Chris Simms)

Personally, I would have preferred Deebo over Tyreek, based on age and fit for this team. A lot of young guys who have to develop, not sure if Tyreek would have been all about that. (Assuming here but a star WR could be demanding the ball and lose patience with a young QB).

I think Garrett Wilson fits the culture perfectly and is interchangeable with Davis and Moore which presents favorable matchups to attack with.

This has to be one of the best 2+ years of drafting the Jets have ever done. JD killed this draft.
