Don’t know who but someone’s going to drop

It’s gonna be George Pickens but the browns will probably have to trade up like 5 or 6 spots to be guaranteed they’ll get him

If we’re bringing Clowney back on a 2 year deal, we should be drafting a WR and DT before Edge. We should lock that contract up before the draft so we can fill the immediate needs first. Other than the cone drill, Alec Pierce’s measurables and combine performance are all similar or better than Cooper Kupp’s measurables and combine performance. Not to say he’ll be as good but Pierce has basically the same weaknesses that Kupp had, route running and getting out of breaks. Both of these are easily resolved with drills and technique training.

George Pickens and Christian Watson are better fits on the Browns then Alec Pierce

Nik Bonnito is too small (and all finesse) for a three down 4-3 DE.
Josha Paschal is a better, more productive prospect than Logan Hall and has inside out versatile already on tape.

I can get on board with WR Alec Pierce in the 3rd, but Ridgeway is a day three guy to me.

DT Phidarian Mathis is 24 years old, I doubt that he is taken by us on day two of the Draft.

Sign Clowney to a 2 year deal. Take the best DL/NFL ready pass rusher on the board at #44 OR if a damn good receiver falls to us at #44. certainly explore that. We will have to get our #2 WR this weekend. It’s highly likely that we make a trade upwards at least once to grab someone. I’d also like to get the best DT on the FA market, because we need experienced grown men at that position, if we want the best possible front. But if we find an impact DT in the 2nd or 3rd round, I’m good with that, too. I would also really like Haskell Garrett in the late rounds. I firmly believe that the best defenses start up front, and we need depth up front. Would be really cool to pair Haskell Garrett with Tommy Togiai again, because they were a REALLY good and disruptive tandem at Ohio State. HG is very low risk, potential high reward.

I hope we walk away with 2 impact DL, 2 impact WRs, 1 potential steal/gem at LB to pair with JOK and maybe get some depth at OL (always have enough to protect your biggest investment).
