Howie is a genius!!! Not many people know how to run a football team like him!!! He is above the game!!! He drafted a QB in the second round and a lot of people might not like that but it was a great pick he has someone to be behind Carson wentz and also he can develop him and also make him be worth a 1st round pick because like he said great QBs are not easy to find. If they were every team would have a great QB. I have a lot of trust in Howie Roseman!!!! Let’s gooo!! Howie I believe!!!

1) Speed.
2) Injury free.
3) Loves to play football.

In bringing back Corey Clement Howie has slunk back into using damaged goods, and thus disregarded number two. Corey Clement won’t make it out of training camp health.

Eagles Fan Keepingitreal Absolutely nothing wrong with bringing Clement back… if he isn’t healthy, he will not make the team. But he knows the system and can help the younger players…

Howie has been in full damage control for the past couple of days. Between not trading up for Lamb and drafting Hurts WAY too high, he knows errors were made and the majority of the fanbase wants his head. Howie just needs to stick with managing the cap and finances. His drafting in skill positions (WR and CB) has been garbage lately, and someone else with better football knowledge/scouting needs to step in.

Mr Ceez

Some of you are forgetting Howie got both Slay and Goodwin for basically nothing. Added a backup QB and speed across the board. Most of you (myself included) were complaining last year about the lack of depth in these very areas. Howie did his job to address as much of those holes as best he could.

    Jenny Smith

Howie added nothing the receivers he got won’t see an nfl field

Goodwin is garbage only 12 catches all year

First off.. how about Stone Cold Dave Spadaro!!! 2. Our draft was elite. Reagor. 26ft long jump. 42 inch vertical. 4.3 40yd. We Good

    damonvaux910

Just a couple of corrections my friend, his Pro Time vs. Combine Time in the 40 was 4.22, and his broad jump was 11′ ft, 6 inches.

Carry on, like you said: “We good.” ~ Sylvester Wilson.

    Sylvester Wilson

His long jump in high school was 26 ft. His high jump in high school was 6’8” and his vertical jump was 42 inches. An over the top athlete

    damonvaux910

@Sylvester Wilson ok, maybe you’re right, I like your numbers better. I’ll have to look that up again.

Howie, addressed the basic needs of this team. This team! The position of QB is a premium position of need for “this team.”

The fact is, taking the emotion out of it, and looking at purely the empirical evidence. Carson Wentz has not been available 3 years in a row. Like Howie said, finding a quality QB in or after the third round isn’t likely.

I don’t have anything against Carson Wentz, except his non availability. “You just don’t like Carson Wentz.” No, I don’t like that 2 out of 3 years, Carson hasn’t been available due to injury. In the 3rd year he decides he’s going to run on 2nd and 4, in the 1st quarter of the game. Head first, that’s what I don’t like about him. So, 3 years Carson Wentz isn’t available. He’s pressing instead of just playing the game.

You know that saying: “your biggest skillset or asset is your availability.”

Truth is.., Wentz for all intents and purposes, hasn’t been available when needed. As an Eagles and Sixers fan. I’m tired of hearing about “Its not his fault. Wait till next year.” Getting all this talent means nothing if Carson Wentz ain’t here to Quarterback them.

The same things I’m saying about Carson Wentz, equally applies, if not more to Joel Embiid. He’ll never be able to get us there because he too, is fragile and reckless. Two characteristics in deadly conflict with each other. These guys are tremendous athletes, they just ain’t durable, so if you can get a insurance policy, or a supplement to bolster your team’s chances. You’ll be a fool not to. Rather than just depend on them given their histories. If Nick Foles hasn’t taught you that, then I can’t help you. Peace…

    Jenny Smith

Dummy they got practice squad recievers you clown

    damonvaux910

@August Let me repeat and clarify myself once again, “he hasn’t been available for the playoffs” for 3 years. THE PAYOFFS, is… The playoffs….

I said taking the emotion out of it. Shitty, or not. That’s a fact. When you make a decision, the results in “large part,” if not totally “IS” your fault. who’s fault is it, mine, yours, then who’s..?

We could argue about the results all day and night. You say it was a dirty hit, the league says otherwise, because Carson was a runner, who hadn’t given himself up on the play. And if viewed in slow motion, the defensive player first hit the shoulder and then slid to the helmet. Is that right, yes, no, who cares? It wouldn’t been an issue if Carson just took the lost down. I agree, Carson up till that time was a beast with guys off the street. Just like he was excellent in 2017 during the regular season. But, aren’t you happy we had a quality QB like Nick Foles waiting in the wings. Im not discounting Carson’s accomplishments during the “regular season.” But, it’s the playoffs and Superbowl where legends are made. So far, Carson is 0-3, and I agree he can’t totally avoid injury. I totally want to see Carson in the playoffs, but if not. Hopefully, our dreams won’t sit on the sidelines with him. Which is why we needed a quality QB, just in case. Peace…

    August

@Jenny Smith Who are you responding to?

    damonvaux910

@August go back and look at my original statement, where I said: “you just don’t like Carson.”

Why are “some Fans” so sensitive when you look at Carson objectively? I’m not sure what point you’re making, respectfully, except to say like me Carson wasn’t available in 2017 when Nick Foles stepped in, otherwise, Carson would have been there. Whether Nick Foles won last year, is a moot point.

The “fact” is.. Remember, we’re dealing with facts. Nick Foles in the postseason is 3-0 and won one of the greatest NFL Superbowls in the history of the game. He’s (Nick Foles) is 3-0, whereas, Carson is 0-3 when it counts in the “postseason.” Who can say what Hurts is at this juncture, but at least his pedigree is looking good at this point. As a starter in college he was 38-4, 9,477 career yards, 80 tds vs 20 interceptions. Almost 10 yard average. All while playing the toughest Defenses in the SEC. Had 32 passing tds just last year, with 128 less attempts than Joe Burrows, winner of the Hesiman who’s supposed to be so much better than him. Carson Wentz had 48 tds vs 14 interceptions, with 8.4 ya and didn’t play in the SEC, just to give this discussion some perspective.

I agree, its not all of Carson his fault, but it ain’t mine either, that I’d like another Superbowl, with him or without him… There it is, it is what it is… Peace.

Vision of Eagles Hurts pick: They trade Wentz to one of Pats, Saints, Packers Chargers in 3 years for 1st and 2 Nd round picks after one of their QBs in waiting fails. Hurts takes over as Eagles 10 year starter. Cobra

it didnr work under chip keey and it wont now – this doesnt look like what the chiefs are doing at all – they are a physical team we are glass

    Renard Odrick

dALLAS gOEDERT, FLETCHER COX, LANE JOHNSON, BRANDON BROOKS, ARE MADE OF GLASS? THEY ADDED SPEED TO POSITIONS WHERE SPEED IS A STRENGTH

@ 3:59 Howie asks Dave to fix his collar lmao.

Renard Odrick

Yo Philadelphia fans are so negative. The man along with Doug won a title!!!! Then proceeded to make the playoffs two years after that when we had no business making it there. If Alshon doesn’t drop that ball against the saints who knows? Because last I remember we own the Rams and they were the only thing that was standing in the way to a consecutive trip to the SuperBowl

I was embarrassed how I reacted to the draft. Eagles brass obviously knew what they were doing, as long as the receivers can catch and get open at a high level, the draft is a success. Go get Clowney and take us over the top!
