@Christian James they dont have a qb issue they have offense issue, from the o line , wr, and got to get the ball in 2 .2 seconds or get sacked 46 times yes that is the sack ratio this year

​@Robert B. That’s all true, but the other issues don’t negate that fact that they have a QB issue. Assuming Wentz is gone then you got Hurts and who else? This teams has many holes to fill, many of which you’ve rightly observed (I’d also point out secondary depth issues and an aging d-line, oh and a so so to below average LB core). I’m afraid the #6 draft pick can’t fill those kinda problems, notwithstanding the serious cap issues. I think grouchy old Seth Joyner is right, Howie will have to trade it for more picks.

It’s called depth at QB position. That’s Brilliant! This is a business that’s not for the mentally soft. Wentz is talented but has been injured and at that position you need a good Qb to take over if needed

Since Lurie has bought the team we have been competitive. He will not lose this fan base just the bandwagon. It’s 1 terrible season. Real life long eagles fans would have traded 10 bad seasons for 1 trophy. Most these new fans can’t deal with one bad year.

@Sucho I’Balls It’s not that. The management has been bad since super bowl year. What if I told you that Howie chose a fumble recovery and 4 sacks a year with Barnett over Marlon Humphrey and Tre White???? I’ll never get over that. Then there’s DK and Jefferson but the point is he’s passing on guys that are obvious picks for guys that offer 1 positive attribute. Justin Jefferson isn’t slow! He paid top money for a d tackle 2 years in a row. If it was just bad play, we’re Eagles fans lol we get it but we could have avoided a lot of these issues by taking the best player available. In 17 we were coming off a year where we didn’t have any corners outside of Mills on the roster and we drafted an end 13th overall and a corner with a blown knee in the second round, when Vinny Curry was 27-28 and coming off 1 of his best seasons and had a career year in 17. And we picked up Chris Long, who definitely should have been getting more snaps after racking up 5 and 6 sacks as a rotational guy. So stupid. Sorry for the length.

He doesn’t play with a lot of fight or passion that’s my concern. You don’t just all of a sudden learn that in an offseason.
