@karis i They could have 3 to 4 first round picks THIS YEAR and you wouldn’t take it? This team could easily take those picks, use them everywhere else and sign a Jimmy G. There’s alot of young guys and rookie contacts on this team where that would make alot of sense.

He tore the team down totally last year so nobody with any sense figured they would be good this season…the problems are in the offensive and defensive systems from another era. Neither side of the ball has any progressive or aggressive element to their scheme. It’s all reactionary. The team is out of cap hell next year and will have a ton of draft capital so there will be a few more FA’s to mix in with some good young players coming in.

@Han Fastolfe don’t disagree with anything you said. Looking forward to the future for sure. But he did bring in players and made coaching changes that have not panned out. I’m just saying I wish these “conversations” with the GM would be more realistic and straightforward to the week to week problems.

Well it doesn’t help that we’ve failed to make a good coaching hire in how long?

@Andrew Garcia I wish this was the case, but Nick doesn’t really get into detail on many week to week processes. Often he’ll just digress to big picture generality. So big picture questions garner a little more detail (from what I’ve seen). Soon enough, Mr. Caserio will be evaluated fairly upon the work he’s doing.
