I think this was Stafford’s worst game as a Ram by a mile and we still won. That’s great news as the defense was playing well and the offense did enough especially in the run game to give us that win.
McVay should’ve ran it 45 times today. Sony could of went for 200. McVay kept trying to force throwing the ball when the Vikes cleary had something figured out.
@Michael Owens Even then, what if the run gets shut down, -10 carries… total of -45 yrds? Either the pass wins or don’t on the day but you go down with it
@ASanitationStompOut If the Run gets shut down and the pass gets shut down. We better pray the defense and special teams gets after it. My main point is that I get frustrated with McVay because it seems like he forces the issues in the worst times (e.g. 3 straight passes on goal to go, and 2 straight passes inside your 10). We gave up pts and missed out on pts easily in those situations.

Not sure if he’s better than Akers but he’s playing great right now.
@Ravioli Burger I haven’t watched too much of Akers other than when he pummeled my pats last year but with the small sample of Rams games I’ve watched this season Sony just looks so much better than Henderson and stats prove that as well, Sony Michel has the 10th highest broken tackle rate in football while Henderson has a bottom 3 broken tackle rate only better than Devontae Booker and Devonta Freeman
@Chris Walkey hes miles better than Henderson but akers IF healthy gives you what michel can plus hes a threat to break a 50 yard run anytime he touches it. Hes nasty however with how well sony has ran I wouldn’t have an issue with riding him fully unless theres a game where he just cant get going
@Ravioli Burger hes not Akers is an animal but nobody had more yards this month than Sony. Hes literally only like 270 away from a 1k yard season
Him and Akers is gonna be an issue. Imo Akers is definitely the better talent no question but michell has been so nasty and been in such a rhythm I think you keep riding him at least to finish the year. Stafford played the worst game I’ve seen him play in years and we still won . That’s how dominant Sony has been . Or if it comes to it you could literally in the playoffs run them both 20 times and pummel any defense in our way. That kinda gameplan is going to be huge vs GB, TB. Arizona etc. In the playoffs you gotta be able to run th4 ball
When hes running at you 1 on 1 and ducks his shoulders down I don’t think anyone in the league gunna stand him up and put him down he runs like a TANK
