I have to say that I was impressed with Jared Goff’s quick releases. Too bad a few of our vaunted receivers didn’t make all of the receptions, however.

People need to remember the eagles didn’t score any points in the 4th qtr so they finally were getting some stops so I think we’ll be better than people are thinking plus the eagles were the number 1 rushing attack for a reason and they look just as good this year

“The morale and momentum killers!” The Lions have the talent to win, and in some cases enough to over power teams. Does energy / enthusiasm creat confidence, or does confidence creat a teams energy and enthusiasm? The Lions need confidence! The lack it, their opponents see it, and it costs them. I would like to see the Lions take the field Sunday with that type of confidence and energy, the same as they had at the Eagles opening series. Only this time, carry that enthusiasm throughout the game. I guarantee you, that that kind of Confidence, shown in the teams energy and enthusiasm, will equate to wins. It will effect their play, their performance.
The major thing I saw was the amount of 3 and outs we had, especially in the 2nd quarter. We could not convert anything and our defense couldn’t rest. As a result Philly put up 24 pts. Once we can string plays together is when we can see better defensive play
Lions played a great game. We lost by 3 to Philly a favorite to win East. We can go to playoffs
