I always think that, but alway dissapointed
Thankfully denver has the toughest remaining schedule. I hate to see them lose, but the only way to salvage this horrendous year is getting the best draft pick possible. It doesn’t matter now if they win 4 games or 6, they both suck, what’s the diff.
But its huge in draft, lose out and we’ll pick 5th, win 1 or 2 more then we’ll miss playoffs AND drop out of top 10….again!!
A top 5 player will be a game changer..
Winning 1 or 2 now does nothing, next year will be the one, they’ll have plenty of motivation and morale next year with all the injured back and a top 5 pick to boot. Im not worried about their morale. Some might disagree now, but next April when your watching the draft and Denver is sitting at number 5…and then see all the available players.
