Chris Ricks I was watching every 2017 and 2018 Philadelphia Eagles game when Nick cleaned house almost every time he played. I was watching 2019 when he threw a perfect TD pass as a Jaguar as his collar bone was crushed. I was watching the worst play calling I’ve ever seen in my life after Foles came back from his injury. You guys have a pretty good RB named Leonard Fournette who can run a helluva lot better than I can probably spell. Maybe use him even a little, instead of having Foles try and throw every down in his first full game on a new team, with a horrible offensive line? I dunno, just a thought.. I saw the same five game losing streak you watched, when Foles started only two of the games. Jaguars are a losing franchise for a reason. They have no idea how to use a QB who is a Super Bowl MVP, Pro Bowl MVP, who holds multiple NFL records including most TD passes in a single game and most consecutive completions in a single game. The same guy who has a statue and a shrine built in his honor and who also has two jerseys hanging in the Pro Football Hall of Fame. That’s what I was watching.

@Jeff Brown he didn’t do any of that stuff last year. Minshew played great until the Foles is back talk started. The NFL is a what have you done lately league. I like Foles but he is a backup. That’s what I saw.

@Jeff Brown Sure I read it. You were saying Jags wouldn’t know what to do with a good quarterback(hall of fame level). Did I lie in my statement? Minshew had a phenomenal first half of a season. Why would any team ruin great team chemistry? Oh because they paid a lot of money for Foles. Simply leave him in the backup position. Minshew is small if he gets hurt put Foles in and let him shine. That’s what I was saying.

Chris Ricks Foles is a proven winner. Minshew is like his college coach, Mike Leach, who I luv by the way. But Leach has lots of fun, some flashes in the pan; but he has never won even a conference title, much less any type of championship. Foles has been there done that and he can do it again with a good organization.

Definitely sucks he looks good because of the player’s athletic ability.Not off the scheme he runs.Dude was running zone when we had the best corner in the league 🤯.
