Brandon Staley last offseason said that offensive line was his biggest priority for that offseason and he fixed almost all of our problems there. Now he says defense is our next priority. He fixed one thing, I trust him to continue

    Jon Rosas

@Kexin go check the 2010 chargers buddy. #1 defense #1 offense and didnt make the playoffs…..

    Jon Rosas

@Kexin pro bowls ??? those are fan voted……..

    Friendly Popo

    @Kexin  9-8***

    sludgedisciple

He better fix it. It was the reason we didn’t make the playoffs. This team does not have an Aaron Donald. They need to re-sign Derwin but make it lucrative and incentive-laden due to his injury situation. We cannot let DJ leave. They also need depth at OT, DL, CB WR. Mike Dub is gonna get paid by someone, I will be surprised if it’s the Bolts.

    Kexin

    @Friendly Popo That’s even worst. 😂

DAGO 619 CALI FACTOR

I think the Chargers should sign J.C.Jackson in free agency if the patriots don’t re-sign him. That would be a great pick up!!!

    Howard Strike

@DAGO 619 CALI FACTOR JC is option number 1 for me honestly, but if Patriots don’t let him leave, the draft is the way to go. I don’t want CHJ back, great man but his age is catching up with him.

    DAGO 619 CALI FACTOR

@Howard Strike I agree 100% Bro C.J. is the number 1 option for me to and if we don’t get him then yes there’s alot of talented corners in the draft

    G G

We’re getting Darious Williams from the Rams.

    Howard Strike

@G G underrated so he’ll prolly come cheaper than JC, would love for the Chargers to pick him up

    G G

@Howard Strike yeah, just kinda seems to be the pattern now with Staley bringing in players he used to work with. So it makes sense. Plus he won’t break the bank.

TT and BS will become the best GM/Coach combo in the NFL !!!!!!!!!

    Jeff S

I wish but no chance. TT is average at best.

    Xoazaja

Tom “The Bum” Telesco and BS Sheldon and his Big Crap Theories.

Let’s own this off-season TT! 💪

    Nathan Marin

Adding Defensive line help, Right tackle on offense, a shut down corner….

Rocky The Hooligan

The Telesco-Staley combo has turned this team around. Like he said we have an identity as a team now and that aggressive style of play calling is changing the NFL for the better. I noticed other teams going for it more on 4th downs this season. Tough few losses in the end but I’m excited for the future. Chargers have a championship offense just have to get the defense up to that level.

    Nathan Marin

No, we did not make the playoffs. That is not turning it around. We need defensive help!!!

    Rocky The Hooligan

@Nathan Marin like I said they have a championship offense just need to elevate the D. Big change from the way the team was ran last year. The difference between making the playoffs is 2 OT losses to the Chiefs and Raiders. Both of those games could’ve easily went our way we’d be sitting on top of the AFC in the playoffs

    Nathan Marin

@Rocky The Hooligan I’ve been a fan since 1979. It’s our team bro. But history has a sad way of repeating itself. In 1979 and early 80’s we had great teams, offensively. We even had studs on defense like Kelcher, Dean and Johnson. Big bad pass rushers. Then we lost those players…then we were 1 dimensional … offense. I see the same trend today!

McFly P

I’ve been a Chargers fan since 2006 season, and that won’t change. Bolt Up!⚡️⚡️⚡️

    morality2020

    @Nathan Marin me since 2001!

Nathan you have suffered greatly but I bet that 94 run still holds dear to you. Our only SuperBowl appearance!

    Nathan Marin

@morality2020 Having watched with heartbreak the Fours era, it was a pleasant surprise. That and the Pads going to their first World Series we’re the greatest times of my youth. Bro. My dad died at 72 never seeing a Super Bowl win. Something I fear may be my plight. We need defensive help and we need to put teams away when we are up. Thank you for the sympathy.

    Samuel Bassey

    2008 here! Go Bolts!

    Raymond

Since 06 as well bolt up!! I smell a good year 2022

Bernie B

We have too much cap space to not make some serious moves this off season. Honestly done with this dude if we don’t make the playoffs next season. And he better resign Mike Williams

    G G

@JamesRichard I’m good without Jackson honestly.

    Rob.

@JamesRichard Love this take. Good to see someone else speak on it…Jones, White, Nwosu (for the right price) Anderson and Parham for sure (hope hes made a full recovery) Covington and those other backup Dline guys…Gaziano…Fehoko…Fuller…they played great when we needed them. Continuity and great additions in the draft …along with a couple FA will get us there. Mike Williams can go, unless he takes a team friendly deal i would rather not. Oh…and cant forget Andre Roberts and Dustin Hopkins…those guys were big mid season signings and changed the team. Need them.

    Bernie B

@Six DaSlayer the chances of Adams are extremely low. He’s waiting to decide his future until Rodgers does at the end of the season. I feel like it’s a 98% chance that Adams will not sign with the chargers so my answer is Mike

    Bernie B

@JamesRichard I agree with Jones, White, Nwosu, Aboshi, Parham but I wouldn’t mind letting Jackson walk (too inconsistent and injury prone) I’m sure we’ll be able to keep Guyton, Hopkins and the rest that you mentioned is whatever to me. We have the #1 cap space in the league with tons of money to play with. I highly doubt any other WR can produce and catch the long ball as well as Mike. I feel he’s one of the key resigns that we need this off season in my opinion.

    Rashad Howard

@JamesRichard Jackson can dip but I agree wit u for the most part

Jesus Garcia

Chargers are about to make everyone who doubted us jump on the wagon! Bolt up ⚡️⚡️⚡️ Herbert the goat!!!!!!

    Nathan Marin

Jesus I agree. Herbert has all the potential to becoming the next Brady. However, please remember Brady was on the sideling cheering his team as he won the biggest games which made him the goat. Herbert has shown all the potential but he needs a team to help him achieve his potential greatness.

Congrats on getting both a franchise QB and franchise LT in just two drafts. Some teams unable to find either one after many years. Should payoff huge

    Amen Brother

@Robert Seaman Got to hand it to him, he did a great job picking Slater, no one could have seen that coming. Over 60 years of excuses and no SB winner, 3 great QB’s in a row. Action speaks louder than words.

    Xoazaja

@Amen Brother Are you nuts? Slater felt on his lap, dude. We needed LT, there was a top LT when it was his turn. ANYBODY playing Madden would have made that pick. What 3 QBs in a row? Do you mean Rivers and Bress? Those weren’t Telesco’s picks, genius. Herbert also felt on Telesco´s lap. He was just there waiting for the Dolphins’ leftovers. He did NOTHING to go ahead of Miami to secure Herbert. If the WFT or the Panthers got wiser, our QB might be Love or Hurts or this year Wilson or Mac Jones. Get real.

    Amen Brother

@Xoazaja I agree with you, my wit doesn’t always come across the way I want it to on screen. The three quarterbacks are Fouts, the offense he ran under Coach Don Coryell was innovative. Rivers always seemed to be a solid, top notch QB. Herbert is a freak, that’s entertainment, that’s LA. Spanos needs to surround him with a comparable GM, HC and OL. 60 years of waiting until next year is enough!

    Xoazaja

@Amen Brother OK. Now I get you. Good points.

    Brendan Cunningham

@Xoazaja Good point. I think Telesco was lucky with those two picks because need was matched with best available. This offseason is huge for Telesco’s future.

Sam McDermott

I like how he called out the defense, because that side of the ball really cost us.

    Nathan Marin

    Good comment

I have been a fan of the BOLTS living in West Virginia for 42 years since Fouts gave Bradshaw a beat down right after the Steelers won their SUPERBOWL in I believe 78, or so………Seen their highs and lows, and I must say this team and staff is by far the team with the highest potential in CHARGERS history….

    David Rupe

I was there for the “Holy Roller” as a Young Teen and have bled Powder Blue since and I agree 100% – I feel better about this Team and Coach and where We are heading than ever before…and Justin Herbert will be the #1 Charger of All Time when It’s done — and will get US multiple Championships over the next 10-12 years!! Bolt up Family⚡️⚡️ — #1 Pick Either CB from Cincy or Florida or LB from Utah

    Tom Bourque

    I remember that beatdown well!

Hustable

THE GOAL IS TO WIN SUPER BOWLS!! NOT JUST GAMES

Matthew Lee

I been a TT fan for a while but his take on free agency and “pass rush and coverage begin more important” has really shown me a lack of learning from our mistakes, im gonna trust him but that needs to change…NOW…u def can build a winner from free agency

Matthew Lee

    Ernesto Gastelum

i like TT as well but if the defense falls flat if he refused again to sign big time FA’s then he should be fired

JM

I’d just watch these to admire telescos ability to weave his way around questions for an hour

Austin Wilder-Tramell

He really said he didnt feel like depth was an issue!🤯 please rid the chargers from his cancerous decision making and fire him

Augie Adan

I love the charges to death, but personally and a lot of charger fans that I know say that the reason we haven’t made the playoffs is because of lack of depth and the lack of talent on the roster, that all relates to the general manager, which is Tom Telesco. Was not solely his fault, but in my opinion mostly.

    Brendan Cunningham

The Chargers don’t have a lack of a talent but they do have a lack of depth. I think a major issue with the Chargers this year was the DB’s and it needs to be discussed more. When Samuel was out it was really exposed. The run defense was awful but started playing better down the stretch. It’s hard to pinpoint the issue because they Chargers have been competitive every year just can’t get over the hump. This off season/next season will be crucial to Telesco and Staleys future.

Dmoney

Hope coupon Tom makes the improvements needed to make this team a contender.

Sonny Cortez

“We like to build from within” ..”You can’t build a team through Free Agency” I get that but it sounds like you’re stubborn on who you selected and not admitting a particular player was a bust. The Rams showed by getting being aggressive in free agency and trades that they will do what it takes to WIN!! Going after proven talent when it becomes available like the Rams did says alot to the fans.

Israel Ramos

It’s a line of scrimmage game and our O-line is only 60% there and and our D-line is 25-50% complete.
