Ziegler is a professional, so glad to have the franchise in such good hands.
He’s very different from Gruden, mayock and McKenzie, that’s for sure

We’ll see they don’t draft that great in NE anyways. Let’s hope they can run a good franchise the odds are no they can’t. I just want a consistent head coach for 4+ years.

I really liked Mayock. But this guy seems really smart. I like all his moves so far. Can’t wait what to see what he does next
@Jay M Mike is well respected talent evaluator. Picks tend to be organizational, and Gruden has relatively bad draft history, which is why Mayock was brought in. Z is professional, but Pats have had their good and their busts, especially bad at WR. Im particularly excited about OL coach bc he has done great job over years
I think you draft 10 guys you hope three are studs whatever round and the rest fit or help the roster. Gruden and mayock together sucked so mayock gets some blame and Gruden gets the rest.
@tripp the red flags were there with arnette. Never draft someone who is into multicolor hair and a “rapper” presence on social media. Signs of poor character. Gruden tried to draft a gruden grinder team.
@tripp you don’t give a guy $100 million to have him sit back & not have the final input. Davis said gruden had 51% control mayock 48%

Pump the brakes though. Just don’t want everyone getting so excited and we havnt even seen them play yet. Idk I’ve gotten my hopes up for 20 plus years. I’m just being hopeful but cautious

This guy has my utmost respect and I REALLY like his direction and thought process with all aspects of the Raiders. He is extremely professional and conveys his answers very well.

Ziegler is an impressive GM!! I’ve been waiting 20 years for a return to excellence.
We’re actually going to be really good aren’t we with Dave Z and Josh running the ship? You can tell Dave has done the dirty work behind the scenes in the less glamorous roles with the way he went through and thanked everyone at the start. Really happy to have this guy running the ship and looking forward to the draft despite not having picks in the first few rounds.
Zeigler and McDaniels have sold me more and more with every interview. They just handle everything very different than we’ve seen for years.
He comes off as meticulous, well-prepared, confident in himself and his role in building the organization. Unlike his predecessors (Mayock and Gruden), he hasn’t really had a background doing media, so this was exciting to see.
