At 4 you can have great offensive linemen and an outstanding cornerback but I would be disappointed if the giants pass on Isaiah Simmons

    Eh, if they get a good OL I wouldn’t be too upset. My mindset is that improving the OL helps the offense and the defense by default (able to run out the clock, protect Jones for more 3rd down conversion opportunities, control TOPand keep the defense off the field). Plus I think the defense will be better cause the young guys got a year more of experience and I think the coaching will be a factor too. One of the things I heard about Miami a lot was that they were well coached and never out of position on defense (compare that to all the blown coverages you saw last year for the Giants). If Graham and the defensive coaching staff can bring that to the Giants then they’ll be better off that alone

    Giants need to invest in the two most valuable pieces on the team. Tha being jones and barkley. there’s a pretty big drop off with linemen after the first round I dont think taking Simmons with the 4th pick would be smart even tho I really wanted him we need to draft by need.

    The best way to help the Giants D is with a quality OT to protect Jones, open holes for Saquon and keep our defense rested and off the field.

It’s possible Detroit could take Tua at 3 and have him sit for 1 year behind Stafford. This could present a great situation for NYG as Chargers would look to trade up in front of Miami to secure Herbert. This could net pick #38, or if Miami trades up: #56 and #70 (or possibly #37 in the event of a bidding war).

Would love Young (🙏🏾🙏🏾🙏🏾) if there’s any chance I’d love that but Simmons as an alternative just hope he gets stronger as a pro he’s long which he uses well in pursuit but needs a couple pounds and/or strengthen his base. The way the QB position has evolved, we need a guy like Isiah Simmons to neutralize them, the dude is a freak he can do everything. Judge said he wants players that are versatile Isiah is as versatile as they come. This draft class is loaded with quality oline which can obtain in 2nd round or later.

The thing w/ Simmons is that a TEAM has to have a PLAN how to use him, otherwise, he’s just gonna be a waste.
It’s what I’m worried & skeptical about. A jack of all trades & master of none.
Majority of the teams after the Chargers @7, would be picking the top 4 OLmen & no doubt would hate to miss on any of them.
Esp Wills or Wirfs. We need to take care of our 2 Franchise/Face Of The Franchise Players in DJ8 & SB26…Not now but yesterday, for their growth.
Don’t get me wrong, I would love to have Simmons on our beloved GMen as long as THERE IS A PLAN on how he’s gonna be deployed on the field but, bottom line, WE gotta take care & show the love on our 2 Money/Main Players now & not later.

Another thing. You guys need to stop blaming DG on EVERYTHING. Holy smokes! He has Judgement Day (Joe Judge) on his side now, as well as the rest of the coaching staff (not to mention owners) to back him up/advice/support on the upcoming draft. & as you can already tell on the recent free agency…ALL the players that were signed were connected w/ somebody on the ppl I already mentioned. & not just DG.
Stop blaming just one individual. It’s a TEAM SPORT for crying out loud.
