It’s time to ride a mile high.
I would like to see us grab Patrick Surtain II – CB or trade down. Here are my thoughts as to most pressing needs: CB, LB, OT, Edge, DT, S, RB and WR. I would like the draft to go this way: Surtain at 9 then Sam Cosmi – OT – 2nd Rd, Javonte Williams – RB we might have to jump up 4 or 5 spots to get him in the 3rd round, Jerome Johnson – DT 4th rd – we should be able to drop about 10 to 15 spots and still get him, Divine Deablo – S – Virginia Tech – 5th rd – total stud, Garret Wallow LB TCU – another total stud – 6th rd, Cornell Powell WR Clemson – 7th rd, and Wyatt Hubert – Edge – Kansas State. We’ll need to sign another LB and Edge guy for depth. This is just my stab at a mock draft
@Pat W Cleveland has been think bout the move since they lost out on jj watts cn only maybe hope they will I wouldn’t wnt to c Von go but if it helps the team keep top free agent players Denver got nd give Von a chance at a either ring I cn b all for it

@Mike Martin Right. I agree with you that he should have another chance at a ring. Free Agency is great for everybody but it’s not like in the 70’s and 80s where players stayed with their teams for their entire careers.

I really like the hire so far!
I like what I’m hearing from Paton regarding three huge puzzle pieces…..Von, Simmons, and Courtland. If things work out to where he keeps those horses, I’ll be thrilled with Paton’s start here in Denver (although I’m still upset we jettisoned Casey before we got to see him play with Von for a year).
Would of been awesome to see casey play with von but the way the salary cap is going there was no way we could keep him
