Get Lamar some help and fix the offense 🤦🏾♂️
Don’t always love their coverage? All they do is suck up lol. At least lately
🔥 greg Roman bus might have been missed, tried loading yall on it long ago, but the action Jackson legs, is the stimulus package that hides the real bad efficiency numbers, that could cause the collapse.
The foundation numbers are not good, but they masked by winning record, and a dynamic athletic qb.
Roman has made that happen twice before, in Kaepernick in frisco, and that one amazing tyrod taylor yr in buffalo.
Yet, when roman is offense shelf life is up, and he’s sent packing, the qb in said offense falls off the map.
Now, they wanna pay Jackson this off season, already said they retaining Roman, so folks long as 10 wins coming, nothing can be done.
Or do you risk a large investment in Jackson in a none greg Roman offense and pray he swim and not sink.
Ravens in a pickle situation
If you give Lamar a creative OC and a REAL wide receiver core, and said OC can actually scheme players open then I’m sure Lamar will do a lot better than he is right now (in the pass game).
You have to at least give him the OPPORTUNITY to prove he can succeed in a pass dominant offense. Otherwise you’ll never know if you are actually limiting him and the organisations success.
Nothing wrong with giving him the passing weapons, scheme and coaching and then if it doesn’t work out you slowly shift back towards a more run heavy offense.
But the Ravens haven’t invested anything significant in their passing offense, so they actually have no idea what Lamar can or can’t do in a proper NFL offense.
I also don’t agree that Greg Roman is required for Lamar to succeed, we have no evidence of that.
@Xavier Malcolm … lamar was on board before Roman, remember it was Marty morningwig before, but he was supposed to be another andy reid know how guy from his time in philly.
Everyone wanna think plucking andy reid talent, can bring you andy reid, worked for doug Peterson for a hot flash in the pan min, and look at him, out on philly.
Now, … we know of Jackson, atleast 70% of him, legs, and efficent in the redzone. We know of Roman, run dominant offenses, non qb passing development.
The Wildcard is Jackson from his own 25 to the redzone passing command.
Now help, … the gm in the last 2yrs, has drafted the best wrs from their respective college programs.
Brown – Oklahoma
Duvernay – texas
Porche – smu
Boykins – Notre dame.
In 2yrs, the qb rush yards have been far more than the leading receiver, receiving yds, the best hand receiver in porche rotted on punt returns. Duvernay on end arounds, boykins blocking.
Brown and the tight end Andrews are the only reads, before a bail out scramble.
My man, help is all on this roster, it’s just not schemed correctly, and it’ll take time to go from a military academy offense, to …. what the flock wants, expect and can imagine. Now, the pickle, pay Jackson and change and run the risk of bust and or hold off a yr, see how this upcoming season go, then … make hard business decisions. Had not been for, a philly long td run, colts breaking down defensively 2nd half, and the browns not containing Jackson in the 2nd game, we could have been 8-8
@king shark I don’t think it’s wise to pay Lamar a big deal this off-season. No QB should be your lead ball carrier. That’s a recipe for disaster. They have to stop playing in a phone booth and diversify.
The major issue is that they have a line full of run blockers who can’t pass protect outside of Stanley.
That’s why they have to play with tight line splits.
This scheme is fundamentally unfit for Lamar. His legs should be the icing on the cake not the entire thing.
For all this just trade for Saquon Barkley if they want to run 90% of the time.

Totally, I’d see how this season play out, he’s got loads of leverage outside playoff wins and passing yds.
EDC get Lamar some help drafting rookies in the o line a bust , spend money on Wide receivers and and offensive coaching you guys spend all the money on defense defense is fine make the team balanced and fix the offense.
He keeps saying we have a running game, but what has that gotten us Eric!! SMH nuffin but sitting home watching just like everyone else!! Let’s stop pretending like it’s not a problem here!…

It’s about having a number one receiver, center, and pass rush
WR1 must be top priority. Otherwise it’s the same old wine in a new bottle. Not to provide potentially the most transcendent football talent in Lamar Jackson makes me sick.
Eric please, add a OC assistant for the passing game since we are keeping G-Ro. We can split the run and pass 60/40 adding a passing OC assistant. G-Ro will not get it done just running. Get a quality receiving core and put Hollywood in the slot. Bad movie in the playoffs trying to only run. Lamar needs help!!!
