As a long time Charger fan – this team is different now. The story usually is that the Chargers lose for various reasons. And they have plenty of excuses to lose and be 3-5. Lost starting left tackle, starting right corner, your best pass rusher, your two star receivers, flip flopping between two different kickers. The usual story: blocked punt, muffed punt, choking, 3 and out, penalties – conservative play call. Plays that don’t work. Dare I say – coaching was/is good? I don’t know if they will make it far this season, but I’m happy about THE WAY that they win. Herbert is clutch.

So I don’t understand why people are congratulating the charges they should’ve lost this game so once again it just shows the bad coaching an game management
this game had nothing to do with game management or coaching since what wouldve lost us the game was the fumble. if you cant appreciate a win then thats on you, but i can tell you plenty of teams have won games like this when they have gotten lucky. is nothing new in the NFL, I rather have a win than a loss no matter how ugly it was

Herbert deserves some damn respect. No WR1, no WR2, no RB2, Storm comes in at the most critical time, so playing with two backup tackles. and he still deals it out. but no one will talk about it.
