Very happy to have Matt Ryan with the Colts. I have always thought he was a great QB missing a few pieces around him. Much like Rivers and Matt Stafford. With Brady proving you can play at a high level into your 40’s maybe Ryan can play a few more years than people expect. Class act and a good fit for the Colts.
I agree, I’m super excited to have a top tier QB back behind the ball. We need at least one top tier aggressive wide out and o think with Pittman and the RBs catching balls that’ll take us to the show

As a Falcons & +Matt Ryan fan, I’ve followed his career for all of his 14 years in Atlanta. He has at least 5 years left if He has a Solid O Line in front of him and he don’t get hit 40+ times per Game!

I believe that Matt Ryan will play for 3 or 4 years and I am glad that we got Matt Ryan cause he can run are offense and Matt Ryan can read the defense too and I am excited for this football season to start this year
I think the Colts ought to go get Julio Jones to compliment Matt Ryan…yawl got a great QB…I hope yawl win the SUPER BOWL…and I’m a lifelong Falcon Fan.
Too injury prone. Maybe if his ego would deflate by a large margin & would take a significant pay cut maybe they’d give him a chance to play

I’m sorry, but I just absolutely hate it when they put these out where you can’t even hear the questions and not to mention all of this background noise 😠😵💫. Again I’m not trying to be a downer as I love the Colts and all of the staff. I feel we have the top of the line Organization here in the Colts family. Just wished they’d watch some of these and learn how difficult they are to hear.
As a Falcons fan it’s the same with our press conferences…IDK how they don’t have a mic to give out or anything like that
3-4 years isn’t much to ask and if we get 1 SB in that span isn’t too far fetched
Protect him well, hone his weapons, & we can have a SB w/in 2 seasons. Keep him healthy, and we have a chance of keeping him for more than 2 seasons.

Go look at Matt’s stats against the greats and he set those numbers playing with Atlanta,
Irsay must have really hated Carson to tell Ballard “hey man get this dude off my team and I don’t care who you get to take his place!” Ballard was literally flying blind after trading away Carson. But I got to say he navigated through it tremendously and came out smelling like roses in my opinion.
I can’t really blame him, he cost the team a playoff run, and they were electric, you had Leonard punching balls out of hands forcing turnovers, JT’s breakout year, Matt as the DC, being deemed the ‘dark horse’ for a SB run, the team ‘nobody wants to face’, etc, and still managed to crumble.
It wasn’t all Wentz, but he contributed enough to be someone who has to go, Colts are a playoff caliber team, its that simple.
Also, regardless of your political or religion view of getting vaccines, Wentz was a big contributing factor to the team having Covid issues behind the scenes.
It was clear Wentz was going to put his own personal above the team, and that’s fine, but it comes at a cost if you’re not going to be producing at a level in which it was worth putting up with.
Leonard has that right as a top 5 LB, big Q does as one of the best linemen in the NFL, Wentz doesn’t.
Rises don’t actually smell too great lol, but I agree the the organization did come out clean after all has been said and done

This is a good pair here. A legit experienced QB into a scheme that really plays to his strengths. I think this is also big for the belief within the locker room. Players know when they have something that gives them a chance and when they don’t. With Matt Ryan, those players know they have a chance that they didn’t have last year.
He’s7th, all-time in Game winning drives, (1 behind Favre, 5 behind Marino). He’s tied for 7th in 4th Q comebacks (tied with Marino, 1 behind Unitas and Stafford. 2 Behind Brees). That’s not bad company to be in. FYI – CW has 9 4th Q CB’s and 10 GWD’s. I went as far down as 50th place and didn’t see CW.
