The Road To Self Improvement

Finally building that line we havent had in 10 years

    Neil

Dont forget Thomas, Peart and Lemeiu…still on the team….but you can bet Linderbaum isnt coming to the Giants.

    Kenji Mapes

Indeed It’s mind blowing Getteman drafted 3 Olineman in one draft (2020) & thought he’d fix it “once & for all.” You can’t just draft 3 Olineman one year, start them at varying levels their rookie year & then expect 3 starters like he did in year 2. Injuries were obviously a big problem but so were dumb moves like cutting our best Olineman Kevin Zeitler last year.

The 2 moves are shrewd & encouraging. We can add a couple of more Olineman in the draft, and our Oline will be better on paper already than at any point during Gettleman’s tenure. Hopefully Shane Lemieux is healthy & I hope Nick Gates recovers from his injury. Gates brings grit & versatility to the Oline. He will help with depth & could win a job at guard or right tackle if healthy. Ideally we draft a top right tackle & Lemieux & Gates battle it out for one of the guard spots.

We finally have a good duo at GM & Head Coach. Things are looking up in Giants land. Let’s Go Giants!

    stephen2015

@Kenji Mapes no way gates plays this year. Expect him to be released soon and to be back in camp trying to come back NEXT year. The Giants can have a real nice gesture and redo his deal so he a two year deal and gets the minimum and gets a bump next year if he makes the team. For the cap I’d like to see them sign him to a developmental/futures deal this year and have him try to come back next year.

    stephen2015

Only if they greatly add in the draft. If Ikhem is there you take him and look for penning in the 2nd if he is there. Ya DONT take cross if Ikhem isnt there. Ikhem should play guard but can play RT tackle. Both these guys are nice depth or worthy starters if they have a few studs around them but neither will change the line by themselves.

Welcome to Big Blue.
This is the start of something good !

    Neil

That started last year actually. All three lineman are still on the team going forward.

Ricky Rivera

Ok Jon! Let’s get it!!!!

NY Man

Welcome to big Blue, we finally we got 3 good O-Lineman.

Amadden mind

Good job joe schoen your starting off the right way I’m starting to see your vision for the draft also

Donald Lyons

Wonderful! Experience – smarts, leadership – great signing now let’s grab Neal (hopefully) or Ekwanu!

Mike Curtis

I like it seems that we have a plan before the draft so we can draft !!!

King Dukes

Now if we are able to get Neal or Icky at 5 or 7, Daniel Jones legitimately has no excuses – he must perform at above average

    Ant McQueen

The receiving corps has to hold up to their end of the bargain too. Top 10 in drops, not a single receiver in the Top 50 in separation (Golladay was closest and he was 85th), not a single receiver in the Top 100 for YAC.

    Dylan Kolvites

@Ant McQueen our receiving core on paper at least could be just outside top 10 but those injuries killed any momentum that coulda happened hopefully with enough time for Jones the play can develop more the recievers can get the separation and Jones could realistically i think go for 30+ TD

redpepperdave

I hope we can get to average at the line of scrimmage this year

MrJayGNYC

“The Stench of Gettleman is being washed away”- Lord of the Rings 😆

    Jeff Smith

You have a ‘stench’ of your own…D.G. is long gone, give it a break…😡

    docbryan01

Rotting corpse stench left by Reese and the decaying carcass smell left by DG. 1st rd OL and pass rusher, 2nd round go OL, 3rd round D-back.

Randy Manson

Best of luck mungo we still love ya – Bill’s mafia-

Brian Curry

The OLine definitely needs an adjustment, and some attitude to go along with it

John Anderson

Glad getting good offensive lineman but I thought we’d get younger players so we have long future with guys we get.

    Joshua Wooten

Gotta start from somewhere gotta get the roster in order for competing this year and then we build w young players through the draft

Jeremy A Rodriguez

This man is Giant Shia LaBeouf

Jason LaBrake

Boys and girls, the New York Bills I mean Giants are back!! 😂❤️

    Luis Plaza

LOL we really asked the bills for help and they answered

Super Taj World

4:49 👀 💙❤️

Jin Oh

I love him already! I’ve been saying that Daniel just needs time to throw. His best pro imo is his deep throws and his worst con imo is the time he needs to process. Give him time and let’s see what he can really do

Ricardo Santiago

Guys what yah expect they have good relationships and trust is super important

JG10RKN

Calling Jones Danny dimes already 🤔
