The communication failures come from poor coaching. There’ s just no way around it. The argument can be made that these guys were 4th and 5th stringers, but the defensive coaches are responsible for setting these players up to succeed. It is painfully obvious that no where near enough investment has been made into preparing the bench players for this defense. This game was a glaring indictment on the failures of this coaching staff.
At this point lose every game, get an amazing draft pick

@Walker Cherry Instead we should watch out team draft 15th year after year and then watch them still lose bc we end up with these B rated players. We need an elite pass rush… I’ll take a year of tanking over this false hype. I haven’t missed a game in 17 years. What we’re doing isn’t working.
Falcons fan keep saying lose every game and get a higher draft pick. A higher draft pick will not help this team. It’s Dan Quinn poor coaching and inability to have our team ready every week. Week-1 vs Seahawks we were down by 20 points in the first half played with no energy nor effort. Second half we came out and played with urgency and fire that’s on coaching just like we did MNF vs the Packers. Weeks 2-3. We were up by 20pts vs Cowboys/Bears first half, we blew a 20 point lead in the 4thQ both games that’s on coaching again. Dan Quinn is a good guy but horrible coach. We got all the talent in the world to be playing this pathetic. He has a 14-22 record the past 3 seasons

Matt Ryan has as much to do with our failure as anyone. He missed throw after throw and he does this every game. Arron Rodgers killed us with 2nd and 3rd string receivers. The difference being he put the ball in their hands…easy catches. Its time to face facts that this guy is not elite and its time to get a real QB if we are serious about winning.
In a season where we’re currently 0-4 and out of the playoffs, a higher draft most definitely will help this team attract a top coaching candidate and give them the flexibility to choose a franchise player to help this team succeed next season. The talent is there, so what’s the harm in adding another top player to this team to compete for a ring next season, bc this current season is obviously over

@Commit Die The defense died partly because they were forced to stay on the field too long. Our D was depleted going into the game and the offense did them no favors with the constant 3/4 and outs. Notice how the D came out and played well after the 20 play drive because they got a chance to rest. Matt Ryan missed multiple chances to get the ball down the field and possibly score. He can’t throw the ball accurately beyond 10 yards. This is why we have to keep guys like Julio who have the ability to make circus catches. The offensive coordinator isn’t the person throwing the ball. Matt Ryan pretty much runs the offense. He can audible out and into any play he desires while on the field. So the creativity problem isn’t really the issue.
Just tank at this point and set the team up for future success. Even if we miraculously make playoffs, we gonna get our asses kicked and be left with a terrible draft pick position
That’s common sense. I can’t even blame the coach for that. We did that in adult flag football. Geez
Bottom line……It’s time for a real change……We’ve changed our stadium, players, and uniforms since our last SB appearance. The only thing that’s left is coaching and upper management…. What are we waiting on?….IT’S TIME!
