They’re pretty ingenious about route combos that spring him open. Ryan Clark called it “sacrificial lambs” and “chosen one.” The “sacrificial lambs” draw/screen defenders away from Kelce, who is “the chosen one.”
Next level for the Chiefs is integrating Skyy Moore in a Dexter McCluster/CeeDee Lamb role. In Moore’s case, I think he could be incorporated very quickly as motion man you can’t stop from catching a quick throw and turning into positive yards. I think he CAN get behind defenders, but I wouldn’t force it down the field to him, unless it’s a glaring mismatch. I just don’t see how you could stop him from getting 5 yards if you can flip it to him on the move in space. I just worry that they’re going to try to make him catch too many passes in traffic and get lit up. And I’d yank him off special teams, immediately. Sorry, Dave. Find someone more expendable than your 2nd-round WR.
Mahomes went crazy to kelce and hardman went off and MVS the two speed boys. They went over the top for 38 yards which were nice just hope it’s a 59 bomb to hardman on a deep route that would be amazing. Though game vs the bills let’s hope we win HOW BOUT THOSE CHIEFS
