Missi is such a great interviewer

    Fat Daddio

    Missi IS black and gold

    Doc Mitchell

Agreed! Very professional and gets straight to it

Mind Business

Congratulations Mr. Khan. Looks like he was sitting in front of the military promotion board. LOL.

Joel Huett

Congrats! Loveeee the fact he’s learned under Colbert for decades!

Billy

I’m happy with it. I know he’s a numbers guy rather than a scouting guy, but he’s been around forever I think he knows the blueprint

    Bruce Mastorovich

Yep, and it’s hard to figure out what each player’s numbers (contract) should be if you don’t know anything about evaluating them. I’d say he knows a fair bit.

jose ramos

Come on Missi, we need more then just 3 minutes with this interview

    KC

It’s not like Omar was going in depth with his answers. He seems cookie cutter. All his discussions have the exact same elements. I hope his staff is magnificent. Tomlin will have to take the lead on talent selection.

Rhonda Schnell

I think he will do a good job for the Steelers. 🏈🏈

Chucky Daniel Martin

This was the guy I wanted them to hire on the spot. I’M SO HAPPY!

Mikado The Moon God

Damn it was either him or Hunt an I thought maybe they picked the wrong of thr two but this confirmed I’m an idiot an the steelers always are a step ahead an know

The Duke Of Dunhurst

He has been groomed for this position learning under Colbert , couldn’t of made a wiser decision STEELERS…. HERE WE GOOOOO

Jason Smallstey

Kevin Colbert would never say… “Putting my staff together”. He would say putting “our” staff together or “the” staff together. Working with Kevin as long as Omar has, I am surprised that he isn’t as humble as Kevin. Omar should begin replacing I and Me with Us and We, immediately and take a team first approach. Just my opinion, after watching his Omar’s interview. I wish him the best of luck. Go Steelers!

Coach P

Quality individual.
Character matters. I am impressed with this man.

God Bless you

Mike g

Sounds like a pretty sharp guy

blkhawk661

What does he mean when he says he is “putting his staff together “ and that the situation is “fluid”… who is he firing?

Good Hire . In house .. makes a lot of sense.. Omar’s proven his genius and value over his 21 years in the office… he’s in his own stratosphere as a numbers / contract savant… the hire of the eagles Scouting Executive sires everything up … THAT guy is a badass too . Very Strong and SUCCESSFUL RESUME- just feel bad for Brandon – he obviously wanted more .. idk . In Rooney/ Tomlin I trust . LETS RIDE

    Nate Lowey

    * SURES NOT sires

He is very fortunate. Kevin left the cupboard full and the heavy lifting has been done with the draft and FA is over. Its going to be interesting to see what he does with Minkah this year. Plus Dionate next year. I also would like to see what he does in getting better picks in the earlier rounds. Howie Roseman has been killing it as a GM and it will be interesting if Omar can do similar moves with his new ideas he talked about.

His goal shouldn’t be to replace Colbert. It should be to be BETTER than Colbert who was very good for our Steelers.

Gold One

Sounds like the Steelers are in Good Hands with Him.
