The right person for the job is Sean Peyton but to part ways with a first round pick will hurt George and Sean can work together to make it work.

@David Younkin Your right! we really can’t afford to give up a 1st round pick, because we don’t have a 2nd round pick either. We cannot get the HC right by going with a first time HC. so..we need to go with a proven winner. Also the Saints are only asking for a 1st round pick.

I’m not crazy about giving up a 1st. So Penner better be very active & willing to spend $$$$$$$$ in free agency getting a C, OG, RT, ILB & CB!!
I think ILB is a very low level need. Sure Jewel and Singleton aren’t amazing in coverage but they’re absolutely solid linebackers. So unless we have a shot at someone like Lavonte David then there’s no point.

Sean Payton isn’t going to make russ better. Russ is 100% of the problem.
He holds the ball too long and can’t read a defense well enough to run Sean Payton offense.

It was clear cut that russ had 100% say in this offense. The idea that this was Hacketts offense is 100% false. In fact Russell having say in the offense of one of the reasons he came here.

Russ has never been a top qb.
The only time he had success is when Pete Carroll ran the ball and played defense.
Russell wilson 100% chose to run a spread shotgun offense.

Payton hasn’t shown to be anything without a hof qb. And russ isn’t a hof qb.
The broncos need to build the oline and front 7 of the defense before they start thinking a coach will change things

@1st Amendment or Die 1776 I wouldn’t bet my money on the offense was Russell’s offense. it was most definitely Hackett’s scheming and offense. he and Russ has plays designed to his strengths that’s it. I heard in one occasion coach asked Russ what play he’d like, and it didn’t work so there!
Harbaugh was the only candidate worth a crap!! So who wants to deal wirh Wilson?? Daffy Duck?? Daffy wants Wilsons designated Office!! Heard Yosemite Sam has a bead on that Office too!! That office should be the Towel Room!! Wilson needs to be gone!! Elway needs to be back in the loop. His input could be importent but current Bronco management will not want to be exposed to experience!! Horburg is the only solid candidate though he is not a current candidate!! interim Coach has all the right stuff and its right in plain view!!
Living in the New Orleans area presently my hometown is Aurora,. The Broncos are my favorite AFC team and the Saints are my favorite NFC team.I feel if they get Sean Patton they will in playoffs for the 2023-2024 season!

Actually I’m not really digging any of these other candidates. like I’ve said even before Hackett got fired. what reputable coach will want to come and coach the Broncos? I can think of only 1 now, and we must hire him.

Russell Wilson doesn’t need to be rehabilitated. You sound uniformed yet your right there on site acting like everything that went wrong was Russell’s fault while discounting the 22 players on IR, the most penalties, a bunch of dropped passes and fumbles and a coach who acted like he didn’t know who his starting quarterback is. You might want to check yourself.
Wilson to Jeudy for the Touchdown will be a very common phrase to hear during the 2023 football season!
Just curious, can anybody answer why the Broncos have not interviewed Frank Reich? I would think he is better than Quinn. Reich is an offensive coach and QB whisperer. Thoughts????
I don’t think it’s a good idea because he’s only dealt with pocket passing qbs I’m worried cuz russel is on the fly when he’s good or running scrambling most of the time

Payton is overrated, & the ask ———-uh, demand——-price, is way too much for The Broncos. He’s not worth it . I say, unless someone else really ——REALLY ——impresses, Jim Caldwell , like John Fox was——is by far, the better choice. No, he didn’t have much play-off success, but he got his teams there, multiple times. He’s known, liked & respected everywhere. I think he’d do all he could to max out RW , &, he’d hire a competent staff. I just think that Quinn, & losing a SB when you had a 28-3 halftime lead, is a bridge too far, no matter who the team is. You just DO NOT lose a SB like that, & ever think it won’t follow you for the rest of your days. Besides., Quinn has it good in Dallas, & Jerry will work hard to keep him. I just like Caldwell far more as a safe pick for our team. He’s much like Rosberg, but with a long resume as HC.————MJL, 76 y/o, & a Lifetime fan.
look payton retired, he quit, BELIEVE what people show you! and sell the field next to the farm? i foresee , another wilson type blunder in the cards for the broncos
