@jeremy x I’m thinking Horn or Surtain in the 1st rd. 2nd rd is a bit of a crap shoot, I’m just really hoping a DE or DT falls there… but it could be a FS or LB. Either way first 2 picks have to be defense we’re so awful on that side of the ball.

@Clayton Lockhart Not at 10, and he’ll be gone by #44. Besides he would play 3T for us. Our need is 1T.

@Rollo Tomassi that’s one of the problems we have here. No one seems to be able to understand that one of our main defensive weaknesses is the ability to stop the run. Everyone seems to be willing to trade up and down and use picks for the secondary. I say we could help the entire defense by also getting better upfront. I still think we need to get Surtain if he’s still there when we pick, and then we should start thinking about making moves to try to get barmore. He is a good stopper that can also put pressure on the quarterback.

@Clayton Lockhart think the cost is too high then. I am ok with moving taking Alim McNeil somewhere between 60 and 75

@Rollo Tomassi I like McNeil and think he’s going to be a pretty good NFL player. I just like Barmore better. However, that may have something to do with the fact that I live in Jackson, Mississippi (i.e., in SEC territory) so I got to see a lot of Alabama football games. Just one question for you here though. From what I’ve heard about him do you think McNeil will still be on the board at pick 60? I’m pretty sure Barmore will be gone somewhere between pick #40 – #50 or so.
