Dang I agree with the whole floor and ceiling thing but I’m not sold on the coach and I don’t see us really winning I think we play lock if we don’t make the playoffs and sink we have a higher pick for Rogers down the line if not we move on from both and I honestly like teddy more then get a offensive mind

Brent Baldwin

People always talk about how safe Teddy is, but he still had only 15 TDs to 11 INTs, which isn’t great either. I like both QBs, but I’m all in on Drew Lock and the ceiling he possesses. I have been since day 1. If this kid figures things out (and has some stability in our system), I believe Lock has superstar written all over him. I hope Drew starts, and we keep Bridgewater as the fallback option if Lock implodes. Compare Lock’s first 16 games to Elway’s and you might see where I’m coming from. I’m more worried about Shurmur’s ability to call plays, and he and Shula’s ability to develop Drew, but I expect the offense to be much better in it’s second year.

Stephen Rowe

Solid conversation. I am just glad I don’t have to make this QB call. It’s going to be close.

No way Drew starts the season as starter. The early schedule is soft and those games are must wins for Fangio who is on notice this season. Teddy has a solid above average base line performance which should be enough to win those games. Drew is just too unreliable. He has all the measurables but weak intangibles. As the season progresses Drew will get his chances, and probably both Teddy and Drew will get similar opportunities but for those first 3 games, Teddy is just less risky.
