A lot of good happened, and we honestly dominated the game. Coaches just gotta improve in the end game scenarios. It’s not over guys

    Jamie Fullcock

Stop it. That’s what people say when they go 3-14. They always say, “a lot of good out there” when they blow. Stop patronizing the fan base.

    DukeofGames50

@Jamie Fullcock you stick around to be mad, what’s that lifestyle like? I’m very curious, except not really.

    Bandito Grigio

@Jamie Fullcock you only looked at the score huh? Goff made good throws and didnt get sacked. We put good pressure on Cousins. Our young defense put up a good fight to a very experienced and very good Vikings offense. Swift AND St. Brown were hurt and the rest of the offense stepped up. All these things are very clear if you watch them play rather than look at the score

    Sebastian Sikorski

@Jamie Fullcock bro that was like the first game where they were leading against a good team clearly not having Tracey hurt us and not having a healthy swift in late game situation

    Matt Pawlaczyk

@Jamie Fullcock I think we’re all upset at how this game finished, but it’s important to realize that this team is different from past Lions teams in that they’re actually showing an encouraging level of talent and execution. We should be 2-1 with our only loss against a very good Eagles team. If the coaching staff figures out how to call a WHOLE game, we’ll still have a good season as long as injuries don’t derail us.

Get some mike stands.

John Barnett

c’mon its Detroit! They have high expectations and more let downs. This is there way. Maybe if they try to lose they might actually win …couldn’t hurt!

Master Blends Barbershop

Damnit! Coaching failed
Same ol lions moment!

john martin

Blown coverage and the 5 penalties by Amani killed us

Terrance WK

News flash: if you had a defense that could make a stop when they need to, you wouldn’t need to rely on the offense. Same problems as you had with Stafford. Build a defense and you win more games. Time for the Same Old Lions Fans to step forward.

    Bandito Grigio

But you can’t deny the Vikings have a good offense and we have a YOUNG defense not a BAD defense. It’s different than how it used to be

    Corey Patterson

I’m a lions fan and I can’t even be mad at what you said cause it’s mostly true yes we have improved but I’m still seeing some of the same bs sometimes penalties playing only a half of football! Even tho a lot of the calls sus but sometimes they put themselves in that position until we learn to play for four quarters and step on opponents knecks when we have the lead it will be the same bullshit!!

Montarctica

If our 3rd round safety could be as good as our 6th round LB that would be great

Josh Wegner

PJ is talking about going to New York and beating 2 bad teams along with Chicago all on the road while we’re sitting over here at 1-2 looking like real goofs. Meanwhile, Chicago’s 2-1 and the Giants are 2-0.. Riiiiiiiight

Itinerant Patriot

Penalties weren’t a factor? How many PI’s and defensive holding calls gave the Vikings a fresh set of downs? Wasn’t it like six? I’d call that a factor.

a dude

i say if we still had riley patterson we win

Bandito Grigio

WE ARE A GOOD FOOTBALL TEAM!!! This might be a loss on paper but we looked GOOD! If they keep playing like they do and JUST KEEP FIGHTING the wins will come! THIS IS NOT THE SAME OL LIONS

Jakob Crane

we need new corners that is terrible.. they better draft a qb then take all defense

John Thrasher

There is only one team in the league that has scored more points than the Lions, and that’s the Ravens currently. The offense should have been able to put the game away. Goff owned the loss, but knows how good this team is and will be. The Lions have faced a good offensive teams so far this season and has done many good things these past two games, let’s see how the defense does against some offensively challenged teams for the next couple of weeks in Seattle and New England (who lost Mac Jones to a leg injury today). Other teams are getting banged up, too. I’m very encouraged by the team’s play and appreciate the coach owing his mistake at the end, but as the QB pointed out he wasn’t out there failing to get the first down twice when it mattered. Team needs to take care of those close out moments and really grow up. I think they will.

Fight Forever

Playcalling seemed too fancy to me at the end. I don’t get how they can’t throw some more timing routes like a slant to a big body guy like Chark or hock for like 7 yards. Seemed like alot of long developing routes when we just needed short yards to make it a 3rd and manageable.

DukeofGames50

We did things we can’t do, we didn’t do things we should have done

It’s easy to be the MMQB, but I’d rather look to Wednesday. Move forward, let this pain make you stronger, as a player for them, and as fans for us, let this pain turn to ANGER! Not SOL FRUSTRATION! Turn your pain into wrath upon the Sea Chickens and stay strong.

Any given Sunday? Naw screw that. EVERY GIVEN SUNDAY! It’s a new week let’s go get another one!

Matt Cottrell

My biggest takeaway was guys gotta show up when it’s crunch time.

While I know there were some injuries, where was Swift, where was Hitch, and why can’t the damn kicker make field goals?

Team is moving in the right direction, just need guys to close out games. I thought coaching kept us in the game-big balls all game. Would have like to see us go for it instead of kick it at the end there

J.ColeDaVikingsFan

I said this last year this isn’t the same Detroit laughable lions team

J.ColeDaVikingsFan

JJ was doubled most of the game

Nathan Barnhart

unacceptable.

Steven Baffy

The Lions really need to take a look at their training program. Way too many injuries. Last year, this year, where there is smoke there is fire..
