So happy this organization was able to stand by Derrick. He needs to know he’s really appreciated here in Tennessee. I don’t know if anything makes me happier than seeing him stiff-arm jags into the shadowrealm. All that and by all accounts seems to be an excellent dude, happy to have him represent the Titans, ttfu!
I think this might’ve honestly been loyalty. He is now SEVERELY underpaid
It’s because he’s not as diverse with his style. he can’t really catch out of the backfield like certain running backs which hurts his stock. I’m pretty sure he’s happy that he’s going to make 50 million dollars though

Henry is paid $12.5M a year, which is the 5th highest amount out of all NFL RBs. He is not underpaid.

#1. The Titans don’t wanna go through what the Rams did with Gurley
#2. The whole league could be in a cap problem if the NFL doesn’t receive enough money. If we overpay Henry and that happens, we won’t have enough to pay for Corey, Khalif, Jonnu, and others that are on a contract year.
He is either tired, not interested in talking with the press, or bored.
