Radiers

Rasmi Zeidan

Let’s go raider nation

It Burns When I.P.

Carr haters been reeaal quiet this season.

    Andrew Blake

    Yup

    TRX VakeZ

@Zohar Uzuki In football we call it a balanced offense

    Rhett Delong

@Zohar Uzuki i really want him to prove you wrong, I’m sure you want that too

    Marvin

@Zohar Uzuki You no Raider Fan so STFU!

    Strum

    @B M You’re a worm.

Yaomein

Raiiiiders!!!!

Moro

i miss MJ Acosta

    Jeff Garrison

Yes, but Erin Coscorelli is cool. Or however you spell her last name… haha. And she’s nice to look at. She knows football too, or so it seems. But I did really like MJ. And yes, she knew football and she’s nice to look at too. Haha. Hi MJ.

    Moro

@Jeff Garrison Nice to look at? Such a scummy thing to say.

    Will Smart

@Moro so someone can’t be nice to look at? Lol quit with the over anylizing. If they had said rich gannon is nice to look at would that be scummy too. 🤣

Taz Saalim

Why can’t Paul geunther get the same productiveness out of the defense the way Tom cable gets out out if the OLine

    Taz Saalim

@Loren Glass this defense has a lot of talent, I don’t feel it’s personell

    Nasario Gomez

@Taz Saalim definitely scheme! Look at Ferrell dudes a beast!!!!

    Mike Sheldon

It’s the scheme. Press man corners playing too much zone is killing us IMO. The line has gotten pressure. Just not getting home

    Loren Glass

@Taz Saalim Poor tackling. The Tampa game exposed it. I re watched that game, and it was really bad, compared to Tampa’s. The thing that has saved us is very few penalties so far this year, and not many turnovers.

    TONYRYO13

Its the scheme. To many moving parts week in and week out… An its Guenther.. To soft.

Jeff Garrison

I’m so pumped about our beloved Raiders!!! It’s been a long time since we’ve had a team like this!!!
Let’s hope that we get completely healthy and stay healthy and see our defense continue to grow together, develop and improve like they have, but mark my words, Arnette and Mullen will be a top5 CB duo by the end of the regular season. Amik will start to get more play time and make some big plays for us later in the season. Joyner will continue to play well, especially at safety. Abram will start to make game changing plays and make opposing offenses account for him on every play which will help everyone else on defense. Kwiatkoski will establish himself as a top 5 MLB and make game changing plays. Littleton will get more comfortable and confident with his role in our scheme and will soon play more and more like the FA that we thought we were getting when we signed him and will make some absolutely huge plays for us in crucial points in important games and by the time we make the playoffs, he’ll be consistently awesome! Our D Line will be more consistent with stopping the run and putting pressure on the QB and will make some big time sacks, sack fumbles and QB hits that allow the rest of our defense to start getting takeaways at least once or twice a game!!! Cle and Maxx aka salt n’ pepper will start to play the game “meet’cha at the Quarterback” and Hurst and Collins will push the pocket back to set the table for salt n’ pepper to eat!!! And soon enough we’ll see Irving and Nassib get in on the action as well!!!
This will all be possible because Gruden told Guenther to switch to a gap pressure technique that relies on the D Line getting penetration to get to the QB. And with Arnette and Mullen playing bump and run, Abram, Joyner, Heath, Harris and Amik will have a lot more opportunities to peel off of their coverages and go for the interception, especially when they are playing the rat, robber and spy roles!!! The mistakes our defense made against the Chargeless were mainly blown coverages due to the starters not being on the field and a lack of experience playing with each other. Then of course there’s been a few times when our defender didn’t attack the ball carrier and instead waited for them to come to them and I assure you that they will be called out in the film room for it. Like Harris did to give up the 3rd and 13(?) ((Or 3rd and 19?)) Play… and it’s happened several times this season, but hopefully we get that fixed!!! But the point is that the Chard-Turds (Chargers) have scored over 30+ points every game against some good defenses since (S)Herbert took over and we held them to 26. Takeaway the fumble at the end of the 1st half and it would have been only 23 points!!! Last week with the weather assist, we held the Queef-land Brown(Holes) to 0 TDs and against the Kandyass Schity Queefs we held Maholmes to 1 TD in the 2nd half, which was the lowest point total for a 2nd half of his career!!!
I know that we’re not happy about the Bucs game at all, but like I said that game was lost before it started, the league front office made sure of that. Besides, even with no practice for our O Line and 3 backups playing, without Abram, Joyner, Arnette, Collins, Hurst and Nassib we were still in the game until late!!! But the bottom line is that the look in a lot of our players eyes and the overall energy had the look and feel of the team that had already lost. Like they were sad and bewildered after losing a bunch of key players and thinking that they were going to be playing on the big stage Sunday night in front of the world, only to have our game MOVED UP INSTEAD OF BACK!!! Believe me, that was gut-wrenching!!! They were hurt emotionally!!! Imagine how you would feel… they were all so excited about it after beating the Queefs!!! Yes I know that they’re professionals, but still they couldn’t help but to feel bad about the whole thing and the fact that they played as well as they did is amazing!!! It just goes to show how much heart they have!!! And when Gabe Jackson was ejected, they were completely deflated. Yes I’m aware that it was the defense that struggled, but it’s a team game and they had to have felt like sh¡t about the whole thing!!! So please do me, yourself, Raider Nation and our team a huge favor and completely disregard that game and remove that game from your memory because the whole thing was f*cked from the moment we found out that Brown and Abram weren’t going to play and our O Line couldn’t practice and the league front office moved the game up instead of back like they did for every other covid game and all the players that didn’t and couldn’t play and to top it all off, the Ejection of Jackson and all of the holding and passing interference calls that should’ve been made against the Bucs, but weren’t!!!!!!! It’s obvious that the league front office made sure that we knew that they were punishing us!!!!!!!
So yeah it took me some time to get over it, but when you look at it from this standpoint we were never going to get a fair shot at winning that game!!!!!!!
So please forget about it and just look at the last few games minus that game… we’ve been playing better and better on defense and our offense is proving that we can win any way required!!!!!!!!!
There’s great reason to be very optimistic about our chances!!!!!!!!!!!!!

    Dark Dreams

    Well said my man

pinned the tail on the donkey on that one ☝🏼👏

Larry Saunders

Gannon’s analysis is always unbiased, objective and constructively critical… Always good to see balanced commentary…

    Strum

Wish he was the only one to announce the Raider games.

    martyc909

Pre-Gruden, I will say he was much harsher on the Raiders (though let’s be fair, it was deserved). Since the Gruden hire, he has been much more unbias and fair. Even when he’s critical, it never sounds sour, but rather constructive. I would love for him to be the one who calls most Raiders games on national TV

    Larry Saunders

@martyc909 Agreed… The team was abysmal… He sees great promise now, big supporter of DC as well…

FLORIDA-BOY

i love carr running more. just slide a little more and most importantly put 2 hands on the ball when u run. dont hold it with one hand like mike vick

RAIDER PATCHES

Carr haters don’t know what they are talking about.

eduardo poceros

Carr proved that he just needed receivers all along, the raiders had failed to give him a team, but now we’re on the right path

    TONYRYO13

    I BLAME CARR! what’s he thinking winning games… SMH…
ITS THE YEAR OF THE CARR!

    eduardo poceros

@Larry Saunders I think ruggs needs to work in his route running, the film suggests that, but I think it also has to do with chemistry and that will come, the offense is gonna be even scarier

    Larry Saunders

@eduardo poceros I concur… Ruggs would do well to join Nelly at the hip… Nelly has revived himself in Vegas and is very well on his way to some sort of extension… You wonder if they’ll keep Williams or let him walk after this season, and let’s no forget Edwards outside of the injury he was beginning to emerge as well…

    bryan nuñez

@Larry Saunders I’m 100% with you. I have a feeling in the big picture Ruggs will play a bigger role in the post season. We are using him primarily to space out the field. Even though he’s not being targeted his speed has to be respected and Ruggs is the reason Agholor and Waller have been doing great. Come post season, lord willing, I think the raiders are gonna unleash the cracked (Ruggs)

    Larry Saunders

@bryan nuñez O-line has been overcoming some serious adversity, but hindsight being 20/20 just think the entire line fully healthy… That aside DC has settled in and is enjoying what I believe is his best season since 2016, higher degree of confidence and comfort with the offense… Continued 3rd Efficiency, Sustaining Long Drives will get us into the playoffs… I believe the more time the offense is on the field the less our defense can be overly exploited…

The Gambit

I welcome the hater talk, it’s more satisfying when Derek Carr and the Raiders shut them up after we win.

Jonathan Rincon

I’m telling you people Derek Carr is proving his doubters and critics wrong and this might be his best year in terms of game managing and his stats so I’m very excited to see how the team is progressing as a unit RN4L!!!

Marcus

Get ready Raider Nation! Mariota should be starting right about now. Where those people at? Lol

Galactic Goo

Rich as critical as he is been is one of the biggest Raider fans in the media and has been in Derek Carr’s corner. Gannon is definitely an integral part of that special fraternity that is the Raiders organization.

Keith Bittinger

The only blemish on this season thus far has been the 4th quarter of the Pats game and the Bucs game. Seriously other than that the Raiders have played great in every single quarter of every game.

Jay Ford Productions

I’m still pissed off at rich Gannon throwing 5 interceptions in the Super Bowl

    Alcone Punch

Gruden knew that offense well enough to mimic Gannon in practice. It was literally the same one he was running in Tampa Bay, and Tampa’s defense dramatically outclassed Oakland’s. A pass-heavy game plan meant a performance like Gannon’s was inevitable.

    That loss isn’t on him.

    Larry Saunders

@Alcone Punch Yeah, when you face your previous coach in the Super Bowl the same year, that’s pretty much like still knowing the combination to your school locker although you no longer attend that school… In addition after that they added back the week delay before the Super Bowl… We had no time to adjust the scheme…

    Jon Da Don

Callahan threw the game as well, they had a whole plan to run the ball because the Raiders O line was bigger and all a sudden a day before the Super Bowl, Callahan switches it back to a passing plan, some players on that team(Raiders) thought that was odd, Callahan never wanted to be with the Raiders, he was only there because Gruden was a close friend of his..

    Larry Saunders

@Jon Da Don I remember reading and hearing this… It was the reason the set off Barrett Robbins the Center… The showed a video on Gruden giving the defense tips on reads when the Raiders were in particular formations or certain personnel was on the field…

    Galactic Goo

@Jon Da Don everyone was in dismay even the wide receivers. They just wanted to win

Sexy Siren

I’m so proud of my Raiders;) DC and his team are doing a great job hustle’n that ball!!! Keep stack’n up those wins guys;) Let’s continue to play some good football. Get it DC!!! RN4L💀🏴💀🏴

Gage Thomas

“When’s the last time the Raiders were 4-1 on the road?”
Guess Gannon forgot about 2016

    Jimzee05

I was thinking the same thing, 16′ Raiders were road warriors

    Manu Ginobilis Bald Spot

They were 5-0 that year. So he’s actually right. They started 4-1 in 2000.
