Beautiful tribute for #88 Demaryius Thomas. Can’t believe Thomas is gone a year ago on December 9, 2021. His smile will be missed by many broncos country and his former teammates. RIP #88 DT 💙🧡. Go Broncos 💙🧡

I’ll never forget when he gave me his TD catch in Philadelphia. It’s was his first TD in 12 or 13 games and me and my girl made a sign for him. At halftime, we were able to get his attention coming out of the tunnel. He read our sign then pounded his chest a few time letting us know, “he got us.” So we were sitting on the 1 yard line and they lined up in a screen formation. I told my girl that they were about to throw him a screen and he was going to score (I seen that formation too many times lol). And sure enough, I was right. After he scored, he dapped up all his teammates then we could see that he searching for something. I was like, “he’s looking for us,” so we yelled, “DT, DT,” then he turned his head, seen us, put his head down and jogged all the way over to where we were, then he tossed us the ball and my girl made this beautiful one handed catch lol. Seriously it was amazing (although her hands were like that). But either way, what an awesome experience. He was true to his word. Btw, if the guy who recorded that video next to us sees this and still has the video, hit me up PLEASE.

And lastly, a true testament of his character, I was in Washington when the broncos came to town on Christmas Eve that same year. It was a horrible game, we got whooped, but at the end of the game, DT was running towards the locker room and I yelled, “DT, DT,” and I kid you not, he looked over, seen me and ran all the way back from being almost in the tunnel to where i was sitting. Then he dapped me up and we talked for like a min (mainly me) and I asked him, let me get your jersey. I’m not sure if he heard me or fulling understood what I meant, but he shook his head yes like he was going to give it me, then he took my sign and signed it lol… but regardless, the point was that he turned all the way around just to come say hi as if he remembered me; and maybe he did….. well DT, I’m still waiting on that jersey soooooo ima just have to get it from you when I see you in Heaven!!!

What a great documentary. I really loved seeing pics of DT coming up from a sweet young kid to an amazing man, on and off the field. Seeing my fave players, besides DT was cool too: Champ Bailey, Derek Wolfe, Von Miller, Emanuel Sanders, Eric Decker, etc so many great players was a nice trip down memory lane. Thanks Broncos for airing this. I really enjoyed it. Rest well DT 💙🧡
