Every team he goes to, their defense is legendary
It was a rough start
Amazing how much Del Rio understands the overarching fundamentals of football — 1) Explosion!, —– 2) Contact Balance!, —– 3) Finishing Speed! Those 3 determine every play and gameshape. Every gameplan, offensive or defensive – whether it knows it or not – owes it’s contents to those 3
And note how most of Del Rios’s Washington defensive players are pretty elite in those 3 basic categories, most are also elite in the final -more dispensable but potent one —- Raw Power!
Interesting how Taylor Heinicke already manifests those – as a QB runner, but increasingly as a passer as well. What is a correct throw if not self-compensating, adjustable alignment of A) explosion, B) contact balance and C) finishing speed?

Legendary ⁉️ You 🤣 his defensive schemes are always SOFT and predictable. He’s never had a “legendary” defense!!!
JDR, I really didn’t think this far into the season you would be my favorite coach, but here we are

Jacks theme of the year every year “Do your Job” as long as we do that we have a chance any day any year 11 guys doing their job together can barely be beat
Jack just needed a few weeks to get his bearings together. Get some live game film on his guys. Then he schemed up a great defense. Signs of a great coach.

How he looks at Standig with a straight face is beyond me. Standig led the “fire Del Rio” crowd
Everything got better when Jackson got benched and then cut.
The defense became great once William Jackson was taken out of the lineup… The early season lack of success is more on Wentz/Jackson than Del Rio. Wentz couldn’t move the ball and that put the defense in a vulnerable position.
Great job coach…

I had to apologize to him on my show because early in the season this defense looked horrible. Now the defense is definitely looking like the best in the division
All the fans was kicking him off the team earlier in the season but I didn’t the man can coach 💯
It’s funny everyone wanted him to be fired not so long ago.
