That play literally gave me the chills!!
That Josh Allen run, I think for a first down, reminded me of John Elway’s Super Bowl “helicopter spin,” probably against the Packers. I think at that point Elway was 0-2 in Super Bowls and he’d had enough of that. So Johnny Boy took off for a critical first down run in the Red Zone and spun around like Linda Blair’s head when she was having a bad-hair day. Which evidently was every day until she met Rick Springfield. But that’s another story for another day. . . . (If you haven’t heard Rick Springfield do guest DJ slots on SiriusXM I highly recommend it. The first time I heard him I was waiting for my wife’s plane in the airport parking lot and had nothing to do. So I turned on his channel. But I was laughing hysterically. He has some great stories. Come to think of it I have a recommendation for Rick. He should change his song to, “I wish that I had Pazuzu’s girl-l-l. Where can I find a demon like that?. . . . Epic.)
I love all the stats. “Josh Allen hit a top speed of 17.25 MPH. He took four seconds to decide to run.” What I want to know: “What was Josh Allen’s blood pressure when he did the spin move? 180 over 120?” Come on AWS we need these vital NextGen stats! Like pronto!
